What's the story behind this Grado thing anyway? Why is he using a 25 year old Madonna hit as his entrance? She's not exactly the sort of singer I would imagine to be popular among wrestling fans.

So you are saying Wrestling fans are not capable of liking a great song? Not a Madonna fan but "Like a prayer" is an awesome song. I suspect Grado uses it for the same reason it is a hit at a party, it gets people singing along, clapping their hands and creates unity.
I just wanted to know if there's a story behind it because it seems like a random choice and isn't the sort of music usually associated with wrestling. No need to get on the high horse - I love the song. |

I thought SoCal Val had been dumped some time ago. She comes across as a sweetie and is doing a great job as ring announcer.

I think you need to take a look at the Grado character to appreciate it. It's very much a case of a man who shouldn't be a wrestler but is one going out there and performing and winning. The Madonna Like A Prayer theme is like a joke, it's a laugh at wrestling. It's like complete admittance that it's a work, it's a show, but we're all adults here, so we're all here to watch something which is a work but lets have a good laugh and a good time doing it.

They did not show Grado's 'Like a Prayer' Theme on the US broadcast.
Instead, they overdubbed it with some vaguely similar instrumental rubbish. You could still see some some of the crowd singing the Madonna song - but you could not hear them. So Grado's entrance was totally ruined for the US audience, which is shame for him. Because it's really exciting, and such an important part of his gimmick. They may still show it on Challenge tonight - but the US audience did not see it. |

That's a shame it really is part of his gimmick, I really hope they kept it in the uk broadcast
Also, the audio is out of sync with the picture. |

Mickie James looked almost as fat as Awesome Kong.
Is she really engaged to Magnus or is that just storyline? |

How long is Jeff Hardy's travel ban for?
Is it a permanent thing? |

Is it a permanent thing? With the way TNA tape it's a problem as he's gone for about 4 months. At least in WWE all he would miss is one Raw. |

That is a shame, as I would love to see him over here performing, but if he breaks the law, then he has to be and rightly has been punished.

Were you a NO voter JCR? lol. I'm in the working class town of Glasgow so i'm not as quick to judge others. Proud to be British? lol. I consider myself Scottish and proud to be Glaswegian and not a chookter lol. I'm sure no one here is perfect. I say give Jeff a chance.

Even if the record label were willing, there's no way TNA could afford the fee they'd want. Was reported at the time that Metallica wanted $10 million for WWE to use Enter Sandman regularly after WWE bought ECW.

So TNA have signed a new deal for all of their programming until 2022 with Indian sports channel Sony Six which is good news.
Just read also two producers, both been with the company for 7 years, have left recently. |

There has never been any suggestion his drug offences have had any impact (no pun intended) on the UK. It is therefore utterly bizarre that UK do not allow him over here for a few days to perform his trade, while we bend over backwards to human rights commissions that keep those peddling terrorist propaganda on our shores. |

By all accounts, Hardy has been clean since his return to TNA in August 2011.

Criminal convictions (regardless of whether they impact upon the UK) will always make it more difficult to get a work visa or indeed any kind of visa. The other part of your post is largely, if not entirely, unrelated to that.

And to be fair, would he not find it just as difficult to make it into the US if he was from here?
