I'm wondering if there's money to be made if I just hedge my bets and start writing this thing over the summer. Surely someone ought to turn a profit out of the TNA brand at some point so it might as well be me.

Whatever happens the TNA brand is damaged beyond repair in my opinion. Not helped at all by the booking between 2007 and 2012. In addition to the downsizing of special events/PPVs and near four month break taken by the promotion.

In saying that I've seen very little of their television output since 2013. They look to have a really good roster though.

I think Hogan already beat you to the punch on making money using the TNA brand (while doing nothing for them) thing

To be fair they've always had a really good roster on paper. They just very rarely do anything with them.

By the way, how great is it that TNA had UTA negotiating the deal for them (with a 10%-15% fee) and they didn't even get an exclusivity clause with DA?
I don't see the need to gloat? People will lose jobs. I don't see the funny side of wrestlers and office staff losing their jobs?

What an absolute clusterf**k. Just reading that DA supposedly want to increase the wrestling content on their channel and that the ROH deal is only for an initial 26 weeks so it might not necessarily spell the end for TNA yet.

But then it could be a case of DA essentially putting them up against each other with the highest rated show surviving.

I don't think they meant it was great in that way.

Though even if they lose their job what diffrence will it make to them it's not like they were getting paid for it.

You think Kurt Angle was turning up for nothing? I think if Alberto Del Rio can charge $5000 per match then Kurt Angle can charge good money for his time.

It's all well and good AJ Styles is in ROH but people forget for years AJ Styles was on over $200,000 per year with TNA which is not small change either. He can afford to work for less money now, doesn't mean he should.

Rey Mysterio is getting $20,000 a shot for some indies, but that is mainly from charging for pictures & autographs & probably couldn't be done more than once in each city. (Did anyone here pay to see Flair this week?)

Jeez. The £105 Flair was charging now looks like a bargain.

Compared to WWE it's ok. WWE charge £400 for their UK tours and you only meet 2 wrestlers with WWE and you get a poster and hat and the chair to keep.

WWE also want you to pay £25 for signed photos at their shows. Why can't WWE do something like that? Bring you backstage for your £400 and let you meet lots of wrestlers? Let you meet the writers and get an insight into the show that night.

Because they aren't really desperate to shift tickets at an over inflated price?

At this point I recommend paying for TNA tour tickets using a method you can get a refund on if it goes wrong (eg credit card)

Heh, i hate it . I know it sounds daft but it's often the excessive chewing that bugs me, especially when they're trying to talk as well.

The fact it's all coming from Vince bloody Russo just makes it all the more horrible !!

Yo. Bro. *dribbles coke zero*

I forgot Lucha was on Wednesdays too, I thought they were having their season finale soon and going off air for a bit. I agree with him. Wrestling fans will watch all 4 shows. NXT, TNA, Lucha, ROH but what one is gonna attract the casual fans and casual TV viewers? Hopefully they do all step it up and compete for our attention and our time and fight to the best wrestling show on Wednesday nights. 4 companies all competing at the same time on the same night. Everyone should be stepping their game up.

Oh if you get to meet Dixie I may just pay £415.
