shaw had a good gimmick. tna just isnt giving a good platform to anyone anymore.
Then it was either sabotaged or somebody completely incompetent got hold of it and it became this guy who was borderline retarded and not at all interesting or entertaining. Wrestling does that too much: Take something that's clearly working and ruin it for no apparent reason. |

I thought that the Shaw stuff with Christy started off well too. The matches with Anderson weren't great but that's hardly a surprise with Anderson. But I thought that the character had potential until it completely went off the rails. Wrestling lacks anyone who has the patience to plan out and execute a story arch properly.

Main Event, the channel that airs TNA in Australia, have announced Slammiversary will be the final show they air. The show will air live with the final IMPACT airing two days earlier

I wonder if/when TNA dies if Challenge will try to get ROH?

Not good news for TNA if international broadcasters are losing faith.

I'm watching ROH Best In The World and it's better than anything TNA have done in years really hoping Challenge or any UK channel picks it up. |

Speaking of ROH, am I the only person who can't stand the ****ing Young Bucks?

I personally wouldn't have put them in The Bullet Club |

I think they're horrendously fake and contrived workers and the superkick thing is just beyond stupid. It's like everything they do is this desperate attempt to be ironic and self-referential. Basically, they're a comedy team.

What would also be key of course is how TNA/Impact holds up in the UK market prior to its hypothetical death. If it were to remain a strong performer for Challenge then I suspect they'd potentially be interested in a replacement of some kind but who can tell. An interesting thing to consider here is that the June 14 edition of Impact was the first not to make Challenge's top 10 for the week this year (putting it under 107k viewers). In very broad terms losing Impact and more generally wrestling doesn't look like it'd be the big loss for Challenge that it might have been 12 months ago. |

I'm not sure they'd be allowed to. There's potentially some contractual issues that could crop up there.

I'll also add that I'm slightly surprised Sky never tried anything similar. Particularly during peak WWE popularity although I suppose WWE has always supplied enough B, C and D content of its own that they've never needed to worry about that. |

Davey Richards and Lashley are apparently booked for All Elite (Asociacion de Lucha Libre Elite) at Arena México on June 28th, the same day as Slammiversary. Also being rumoured Austin Aries contract is up this weekend.
That live show is going to be interesting. |

wrestletalk is ok, i used to hate it with a passion because it was wannabe soccer am-ness of it all, and they tried to stich up russo but it backfired and they looked like idiots which was funny.
its ok for the interviews and wrestling discussions once in a while. they dont promote tna at all though strangely, its all wwe. wonder if challenge keep an eye on it! also francesca has slimmed down and looking gooood |
