Christ knows what this could possibly be or whether they are related. TNA 'surprises' and 'announcements' are notoriously shit though. Remember Tito Otiz? I guess this will be business related rather than a debut though.

I suspect that they may just be announcing the end and are trying to get it out there before the Observer goes online.

How will they spin "TNA Is Dead" as a good thing?

Not sure but lots of rumour mongers and even sources I trust are saying that this is massive. That's the line being fed by TNA management anyway.

Jarrett has been Tweeting all day
Well, stranger things have happened... Not a "done deal", but huge turnaround this morning... Definitely headed in the right direction...
Well, we've had a pretty interesting morning around the @GFWWrestling office... #StayTuned

Things are really coming together for this "deal"... Almost in legal's hands... #StayTuned

The deal is in legal's hands... Pretty, no, very excited about this... Here we go... @GFWWrestling #StayTuned

Not the 1st time... Certainly will not be the last-- Legalities can/will kill a deal quicker than anything... #NotForLackOfEffort
It does make me wounder if a merger of some kind was planned but it fell through

Pretty much but I do think it was going to be part of much bigger news what fell through.

I can't see lawlers and a legal team needed for the news we got.

I see Jarrett is back to teasing a big GFW announcement which is definitely a real thing everybody. It exists. Its real.
After they wouldnt get Hall? Its gotta be Nash or himself in the ring returning.

Shall we all stick to using spoiler tags? Even MrInconsiderate himself managed it

Yes from what I read it's live in every country that gets TNA.

Pity the event looks crap even for TNA.

They have even cancelled the title matches and moved them to Impact.

yeah saw no promotion at all for it on impact! what a shoddy creative/business decision!

still nice to see tna live on uk tv, come along way,but could be all for naught very soon

TNA is massively more significant than RoH because of its viewership. It's that simple.

Smark anti-TNA attitudes are laughably blinkered. The promotion will be remembered very fondly by its fans. Those fans by and large aren't internet message board crusaders, although they are smarks of a sort. Go to a TNA show in the UK; the atmosphere is great, much more nerdy / alternative and less kiddie than WWE shows. These are the people who will remember TNA. I'm not going to speak for the US because I've never been there - but clearly there are hardcore TNA fans there too.

I maintain that WWE acknowledging wrestlers' TNA runs would make WWE seem more like a proper wrestling promotion and less like a sanitised, controlling corporate brand. Of course, they are a sanitised, controlling corporate brand! So I understand why they behave as they do. But I don't have to like it!

Magnus has a decent look but I find him utterly bland in the ring. Not that this would necessarily hold him back from signing for WWE. I think he would be best suited in a tag team though.
I agree completely on Magnus. I can't put my finger on why he's so dull working solo, but his teaming with Joe was a revelation. I'd love to see them reunite in NXT.
