Heyman's track record is that ECW died due to financial issues. TNA has likely absorbed way bigger losses than Heyman ever could because they have the one thing he didn't have, a money mark.

If Dixie had Heymans money TNA would have been dead about 10 years ago.

If Heyman had Dixie's parents money ECW would still be going today

I agree. Surely it's time for TNA to just throw out the rule book and try some crazy nonsense? An inter-company feud where GFW actually win, "take over" TNA & supplant Dixie, taking their slot on TV and rebranding the company etc. Works for me. And hasn't actually been done before - which you can't say about much in wrestling.

Ooh Nitro replacing Smackdown! Lovely idea. Or a testcard. A testcard could replace Smackdown.

I loved the original invasion idea of RAW becoming a WCW show. Shame the network allegedly rejected the idea. The 'Invasion' really was the most botched angle in history. But in a way it's not too late. WWE still have all the rights they need, and goodness knows something is required to shake wrestling up again. It would have been a great thing to do with Sting, but instead HHH wanted to dress up as a robot. Bless.

EDIT: Hey imagine this: Sting came out at 'Mania, grabbed the mic and said "I've been planning this for a decade". All the monitors & screens switch to WCW logo as he laughs manically. Booker, Flair and other WCW almuni surround the ring "I'll fight you Hunter, but it's going to be a WCW match ..". Come on, we'd all have marked out.

i dont have faith in wwe or tna to pull the trigger on anything brilliant anymore which is a real shame.

i mean in late 80s and early nineties i remember adults loving warriro, hogan etc.

then obviously attitude era

now..unless your a kid you watch out of habit, there are odd great moments(cm punk winning title, angle debut in tna, owens beating cena clean etc) but they are few and far between.

would love a period where everyone looks forward to a weekly show with anticipation, long way off yet it seems

You genuinely think putting their staff through this mess with tiny light at the end of the tunnel is better than hanging it up?

TNA paying their staff good one.

I'd sooner trust a cheque from Heyman.

When they get paid.

there are reports TNA talent weren't previously informed of the July tapings and some are annoyed they've had to cancel indies dates where they get paid upfront or on the day.

At least ECW stars didn't qualify for Welfair do you know how hard it is to qualify for Welfair in the US it makes the Tories and IDS look like left wingers throwing money at people walking by

TNA has a even worse record than ECW for not paying and when they do not paying much.

A KO champ at the time she was champ had to work in a shop selling sunglasses to make enough to live on

'reports', eh? 'reports' that cast TNA in a negative light? I've never heard of such a thing. Sounds legit.

So you should actully get paid for it then a local shop was paying her more money for selling sunglasses than the so called number 2 wrestling company in the world was paying her for being their champion.

Especially when the women were ratings draws and the likes of Hogan, Stong etc. were picking up obscene salaries.

Also, the participants for the King Of The Mountain match have been announced:

Wrestling is a tough life. Nobody does it for the money. Also, from what I remember of this rumour - and it was a rumour - there was nothing about her earning more from the second job, just that she had a second job. Big whoop, who cares? Nobody's claiming TNA are Goldman Sachs.
