It be interesting if Jarrett did take all TNA talent for his show. Dunno why he quit TNA in the first place and sold out.
Because they took his power away, In this scenario he is at worst an owner with power in their partnership or is in control of the new company

James Storm has been granted his release from TNA and his last appearance will be Slammiversary this Sunday.

Magnus will also be finishing up with TNA this Sunday as he will be heading to GFW

James Storm was a TNA original appeared on the very first show and has been on almost every Impact and PPV so if he is getting out TNA may really be over this time

Magnus and Storm gone? The fact that Magnus is heading to GFW while Jarrett works TNA suggests that he'll be around for an angle of some description.

EDIT: Just read that, while Magnus is booked for a GFW taping, he's a free agent and hasn't agreed a contract with them or anything.

It still doesn't look good for TNA that people even very TNA loyalists like Storm are quitting.

They're clearly shutting down. There's no last chance saloon after a network like DA drops you. They *were* the last chance saloon.

I can think of a last chance saloon but it would never ever happen. Say somebody made a modest contribution to TNA's finances each year, somebody who had the ability to put TNA on its network for an hour a week paying them an additional, say $40,000 a week for production purposes. If that network was to cost, maybe $9.99 a month.

I don't see the benefit of this. If Panda Energy can't/wont keep TNA alive with its finances, how is Jarrett going to be able to? I really don't think Jarrett buying TNA is the answer to its problems.

I can see him buying for the rights to merge it with GFW so TNA will die but Jarrett will keep the title history by merging the TNA Championship with the GFW Championship it looks better when they can talk about former champs like Kurt Angle pretty much like WWE did with the WHC talking about when Flair and Dusty were the champs.

Plus Jarrett started it it may be hard for him to see it just die without a trace at least if he mergers it with GFW it will keep alive in someway.

I get Jarrett not wanting it to die but it's just, odd. I don't see the benefit for Jarrett in buying it back personally.

If he could get the international TV deals for GFW maybe it could be worth it he may already have a US one lined up .

So Challenge just started airing GFW when TNA finished

That could be one of the things what fell through

That would essentially be a rebrand of TNA under the GFW umbrella, which still doesn't answer the two biggest issues: 1) having TV, 2) funding.

He would need to court Dixie for her parents' money.

So why burden yourself with the cost of buying TNA if it's not going to solve any of the problems?

I don't know I'm not Jarrett I think it's a stupid idea myself just trying to see it from his POV.

He did and then sold a majority stake to Dixie's parents.

Probably a silly question, anybody planning on watching live tonight for what could possibly TNA's final PPV event?
