Was that a house show?
Basiclly Jeff sells the show (the guys ring set up ect) for a set price then who buys it gets the gate money. This way Jeff gets the same amount if 1 or 1000 people show up it's who bought it takes the risk of profit or loss. I think they start taping Ampted ( The name of the weekly show) in a few weeks rumours are Jeff has a TV deal in the works. |

No from what I know it's just a show Jeff sold to a local promoter.

Ironically PCW in Preston drew a big crowd today, all be it a free show, largely using talent best known from TNA - https://twitter.com/DaveMastiff/stat...009728/photo/1
(Show was- Dave Mastiff won the PCW title beating Chris Masters. Team 3D beat Team Single in a tables match. Bubblegum beat Rockstar Spud. Sha Samuels beat Mr Anderson. Velvet Sky & Viper beat Toni Storm & April Davids. Noam Dar beat Ryan Smile. Martin Kirby won a money in the bank match against Lionheart, Joey Hayes, Dean Allmark, Charlie Garrett & El Ligero.) |

The Jeff Jarrett interview he just said TNA was AJ Styles Joe and more only Kurt And Beer Money are still in TNA.
He came right out and said what made TNA great is gone. I know it's part of a storyline but I didn't think even TNA would air a interview saying TNA sucks now |

you also said you ddint like storylines that didn't have clear goody vs baddy. instead of trashing tna why not just see that they do not cater to fans who want the 70s and 80s back?
tbf you didnt live through attitude era though so you cant be expected to understand the brilliance of shootesque storylines |

That reads like every Whedon post ever and surprisingly enough, makes no sense and bares no relation to anything I've actually said.

ok if you really think that.
to clarify the post meant that you clearly like traditional wrestling formula from 70s and 80s(which was very popular! not a dig) like current wwe provides. so maybe thats why you hate tna. |

I hate TNA because they're stupid and have never learned any lessons of their stupidity.
And WWE is really nothing like the wrestling formula of the 70s and 80s. |

I don't know what that's in reference to, I can't remember.
The point I was trying to make about TNA though is that they're always undermining their own company in their storylines. They've done it throughout their history, having people come in and basically talk about how second rate TNA and it's wrestlers are. If you want to grow a brand, I don't think it's a good idea to talk it down constantly, especially when only a select few people will understand the sort of wider picture. |

To me, having Hogan leave with Dixie clinging, pleading, to his ankle was complete genius and utterly hilarious. As was the Aces & Eights funeral - my favourite TNA segment ever. It's these bits where the fantasy world of wrestling makes nods to the real world which make wrestling worth watching, to me. I guess this attitude is central to why I often have a different take on wrestling matters to some other posters on this forum. I'm not trying to be difficult, I promise!

I actually love TNA's occasional references to their own real-world problems. I like it because, as whedon says, it's grounded in reality.

I'll say this about the most recent Impact, EC3 has grown into a fantastic dick heel. Quote:
