I actually love TNA's occasional references to their own real-world problems. I like it because, as whedon says, it's grounded in reality.
To me, having Hogan leave with Dixie clinging, pleading, to his ankle was complete genius and utterly hilarious. As was the Aces & Eights funeral - my favourite TNA segment ever. It's these bits where the fantasy world of wrestling makes nods to the real world which make wrestling worth watching, to me.
I guess this attitude is central to why I often have a different take on wrestling matters to some other posters on this forum. I'm not trying to be difficult, I promise!
