From what I've read, yes. How financially viable that is, only the Carter family know and I'm sure we'd never get a true/straight answer on that. Apparently the DA deal was worth $60k a week so they will have to replace that in some way if they are off TV. How do they do that? They can't charge for tickets for tapings so do they find a venue they can? Do they go back on the road for live events with what is looking more likely to end up a skeleton roster?

Maybe Bob and Janice are just going to eat the costs...

I think Bob and Janice are done funding Dixie's pet project lol. Apparently they really want to sell, Dixie really doesn't.

I'm sure WWE would want the TNA tape library if they got the chance as it would be useful for any future docs on Sting or Angle. Having the TNA PPV archive on the Network would be a nice addition as well.

I agree, though they were obviously happy enough to kill off the last deal because they wouldn't but Dixie on TV. I doubt they would make the same mistake if they get another chance to sell, but I don't think they will get that chance.

The rumours that I've read is that Toby Keith stil wants to get into wrestling. Jarrett wants him to invest in GFW, but without a TV deal Keith is apprehensive. That then pushes him to TNA but as we all know, TNA's TV situation is in doubt.

They'll sell it cheap just to get it off their hands IMO.

Why does Toby Keith want to get into wrestling? Isn't he just some shitty country singer? There's no point in having a money mark without the money.

TNA issued a 'best of Hogan' dvd in America last week by the way.

It's said Toby Keith is extremely rich, as in hundreds of millions. Obviously you never know with these celebrity earning things but the estimates range from 300-350 million. So he's got some money at least.

Eh, if it's from one of those net worth websites I tend to be suspicious of them. Still, even if that were true, it's significantly less money than the Carters reportedly have. It's far from insubstantial of course but one would assume that wrestling would be a side project/hobby for him rather than his main business focus.

The difference being, he seems like he wants to spend some money on wrestling unlike the Carter family who just seem to be spending the bare minimum. They aren't even covering the late pay checks which I find pretty disgusting personally.

Oh yeah, they're spending bare minimum now and not paying people is disgraceful (not sure why they haven't been sued) but at it's height, they were spending a ****ing ton on TNA and it didn't get them anywhere.

Well, they have been sued by Uncle Eric, who was being paid $400,000 a year to think of ways to get Hogan, erm, I mean TNA over.

I read an interview with someone who used to be in TNA, can't remember for the life of me who it was, who said basically people complain they aren't getting paid but don't actually complain to management. Considering how much Panda/Carter's are worth that should be one area TNA's parent company should be covering without hesitation.

Didn't realise until just googling Keith it was his and Jarrett's offer that went nowhere because of Dixie's inclusion in both television and the day to day running of TNA was a condition.

Spoiler alert, some of the stuff taped over the last few days included, SPOILER-

Spoiler
"The Man" Jessie Godderz beat Awesome Kong.
Bram came out and signed a contract.
Bram defeated Spud but demanded the match be restarted so he could continue the punishment. It was restarted and Spud quickly won
Bram beats Grado, was barely a match, dance contest then Bram rolled up Grado during his turn
Eli Drake talks about being the greatest wrestler in TNA, used The Rising to get him to where he is. Then Mica beats Eli Drake
Eric Young beat James Storm then grabbed a mic and announced he quits the company.

I'm guessing it's at the point no one there cares anymore.

Yup. Bob and Janice are obviously smart enough to try to keep Dixie away from the main business but no one is stupid enough to buy TNA under those conditions.

I wonder if she just had some puppet role could they have just bought it, buried and demeaned her on TV and just hope that she would walk.

For the Angle matches yes.

very good crowd to say it's pretty much a unknown promotion more there than TNA has pulled in in about 10 years

TNA have responded to the Hogan situation by pulling him from their alumni page and removing all merchandise

Looks quite full and I presume they are paid attendees? Only issue, it looks a bit TNA because of the six sided ring. Remove the GFW logo (and the crowd obviously) and it could be a taping for a new TNA show.

TBF the six sided ring was a Jarrett idea (in the US anyway Japan had one already) so maybe he just wanted to carry on with it.

If they did pay GFW has made more money in one taping than TNA has made in years combined.

GFW is nothing without a TV deal, no different than any wrestling promotion in England every weekend running a show with Sabu or Colt Cabana on it lol.

When they get a TV deal and advertisers start paying money to advertise on their show then they are legit and it seems just like another phony wrestling show, nothing new, nothing different, nothing I've not seen before.

Of course if he wants to use it, go ahead. I'd just think if you wanted to have a TV taping that ended up looking like another promotion, TNA probably isn't the one you want to be going for lol

I agree though now GFW seems to have more TNA wrestlers than TNA.

I think he wants to look more Japan than TNA.

Maybe he should have gone for 8-10 sides (I have seen them)
