I didnt think DA was carrying TNA till end of year.

DA are carrying TNA until the end of 2015 as announced by dixie & others a week ago.
people had already noticed the DA epg listing "a new tna" episode past the date TNA was rumoured to have it's last episode.

TNA has one more episode in the can for DA which is all new content, from then on it's rumoured that they will be showing all those one night only PPVS they showed over here on DA to use up content. No idea what will be shown over here though.

They only have three One Night Only episodes unseen anyway so they have to be taping more if that's true

I honestly don't understand how they don't have episodes of their television show ready to air. Its almost as if they weren't expecting to have a slot to air them in or something.

But that story wasn't true. They threatened legal action for defamation, that's how true it wasn't....

Which must mean it was a deliberate decision on the part of TNA to stop taping television shows despite still having a slot through to the end of the year...

No I don't follow the thread much. I mean if I have a question about TNA ill check the thread out but apart from that I haven't. I really want to follow TNA but the last time I followed it and actually watched a full episode was when Hogan came in and tagged with Abyss.

I will occasionally read about the odd tapings and stuff and thats pretty much it.

If TNA are doing fillers in the UK exact to the US I kinda hope they re show Gut Check as have missed it and can't find it anywhere to watch. I think there is a World Cup Show also that was the most recent ONO show. TNA's Youtube channel has them but on a on demand service.

the sad thing is they got away with "treading water" with the "poor" interim international tv output between spike & DA
i don't think they will get the same grace if they put a load of rudderless shows on again. while there are some people who just want to see the skillful "dancing" (& some of TNA's action has suffered to be charitable "ring rust" with very laboured moves) the reality is it is the soap storylines that keep the "suspension of belief" going... no storylines no real draw .

TNA's India tv taping/tour in late November & early December with Mahabali Shera as main babyface appears to be on.

Am I missing something or has Challenge dropped the Tuesday repeat of Impact?
I usually watch the second showing at 11 on Tuesdays but last night it wasn't on, and there doesn't seem to be any repeat on Challenge's schedules at all.
Anyone know why?

Is there a reason why WrestleTalk TV on Youtube doesnt have episode 7 & 8 of the current series?

Crap ratings I'd imagine.

In any case, this Sunday's episode is the last one they taped at the last set of tapings so we're presumably getting "best of" shows, or material that was taped for one night only shows after Bound for Glory.

The problem is that it makes them look super inept.

If we buy the TNA company line that the TV deal was never in danger and they were always going to continue on Destination America then the only reason they've literally run out of original television to air is because they're inept. Even at its worst WCW at least managed to actually tape television (which in many ways feels miraculous in hindsight). Its just staggering that they don't have any more television in the can at this point.


That would be my guess as well. Although its possible/probable that they're also trying to drive more eyes to the original showing by removing the repeat and thus somewhat artificially inflate that number.

tna should have had "story" recorded even if they were unsure of DA because they had the international deals they intended to fill... and with a few matches done with the linking reasons done as commentary that should not have been hard for them to have done.. may be they did that, we will see

but unfair maybe to compare tna to wcw (if doing so to their final years) as it was fully funded even if it was with a lower budget... aol was trying to sell it so they were keeping it on air until they offloaded it. if you watch the final few ppv (i.e Sin to Greed on the wwe network) there is a very TNA 2014/5 to them... one by one the expensive legacy wrestlers were written out of the show and replaced by "no names" who got a big sudden push - often looking last minute & disjointed..

tna doesnt even seem to have that level of "polish" to their storylines... and they got so reliant on vapour active roster and filming they got stuffed by the recorded mvp/Hernandez match blackout.. & then became centered for a midcard around guys who had actually said to camera they were leaving at that ppv (which was live but shown after the next 2 months tv had been recorded with them in it)...
the last month showed a very thin "roster" as 30% of the tv time was filled with gfw people... and that left a "hole" once they left... well it would have but for some reason tna still filled a segment of the show with the old jj interview stuff..... he's gone "fully" yet still there...

in his book EB says the important trick is to "suspend belief" even for a moment, if that happens, the show (any show) works... but tna keeps ruining the "suspension" with something that breaks the illusion

I dont know why TNA has stopped tapings for a while when they have a UK deal unless they are going to be live each week.

I'm so tempted to predict a Jeff Hardy heel turn in the main event. I'd absolutely nail it on if Russo were still booking. Actually if Russo were still booking I'd probably predict Jeff somehow winning the title.

I also really don't understand the point of the King of the Mountain Title.

For me I want to see Jeff screw Ethan and either see Matt or Drew win the belt but they ll probably have Jeff turn heel.

Lashley I want to win but TNA booking will have Boring Roode go over.

Kong will destroy Gail.

Dont know any of these X Div guys so whoever champ is will win.

Wolves guessing will win.

Andreson likely will win the gauntlet match

So apparently TNA are telling talent another deal is coming. They haven't been told the network name but are being assured.

Also in regards to the India situation, talent are being told not to book any dates with other companies in case a deal can be done to film some TV in the country. This is a problem though as if it doesn't come off, talent are possibly going to find themselves without work on what are usually two very busy weekends for indie promotions as they tend to not run Thanksgiving weekend events and also don't run into late December.

I still find it utterly astonishing that people are being dictated to by a company that can't guarantee them dates. For a lot of these people, TNA is almost like a second job with the small amount of dates being worked but they have to turn down work on the off chance they end up in India for 2 weeks.

If they have a new TV deal lined up why wouldn't they be doing tapings in India? When the hell else are they going to do it?

Something to do with the logistics of production in India. Why they are wasting money going to frigging India is strange to me. It's something different but surely it's a bit much?

Are they not getting paid per appearance anymore?

Jeff Hardy has torn his cruciate ligament and therefore will probably not be a surprise at the Royal Rumble, I mean going to India.

So hes not at the PPV then?

Just wondered does anyone know where Taryn Terell is and she is not on the Bound for Glory card she kinda disappeared of tv without having a real end to the Gail Kim feud which was set up when Gail came back?
