It just ruins the whole flow of things if you as a spectator watching on tv know that a show you are watching was done weeks and weeks, if not months ago, and is now trying to be passed off as a current and up to date show.
While of course the financial impact (no pun intended) on the company should be important, they have to decide what they are, either a business first and foremost, or a wrestling company trying to put out the best product possible.
Showing a show which was taped weeks ago, and showing it as recent and up to date, is not in my mind at least, showing or putting on the best product possible.
If it means doing fewer shows, but keeping them more recent, and downsizing on the talent, then so be it, all business have to cut their cloth accordingly.
That would I think be a far better option, then voicing over some shows from almost a year ago and passing them off as current, and having people that are now with other companies still appearing on their shows.
TNA still has the brand name in wrestling circles to carry on however they decide to do, but surely it would be best to not try and con their fans at the very least?
