I'm not entirely sure Styles would agree with you here. Didn't he make it pretty clear after he left TNA that he'd been unhappy there toward the end both creatively and with the company set up in general?

something weird there..
aj was doing a deal with tna, then suddenly breaks off mid negotiations... then a few of nj's roster sign for wwe... wwe actually "reports it" on their website and at the same time jr is made new lead announcer for the njpw show on american tv... it looks like wwe have done a bit of a deal with njpw & jr hasnt burnt any bridges therefore by appearing on a regular "competing" wrestling tv product i.e was it all a work between wwe & njpw and yet another "removal of potential talent" from the more serious of the competition to wwe. |

TNA absolutely dropped the ball when they let him leave the company the first time. I presume they can see that now - you don't let your only true homegrown star leave for anywhere else. You just don't. WWE letting Hogan go to wCw was a mistake as it gave them a legitimacy they didn't have up until that point - hence why they protected everyone else very, very strongly.
On the other hand, however, TNA didn't "lose" Styles to WWE - he had left the company over a year ago, rather than jumping ship. If it came down to a straight shoot between WWE's main roster and TNA's main roster, Styles was always going to go to WWE, as would 99% of wrestlers. TNA's main roster vs. NXT would have been a much more difficult decision and I suspect Styles would have gone back to TNA, who would have offered him more money than an NXT deal.

Kong has been sent home from the UK tour due to an altercation with Reby Sky. Apparently Sky tried to change with the rest of the divas, after previously not wanting to, and Kong chucked her bag out of the door.

Kong takes no shit! Bad political move though, because Matt Hardy has clearly got himself a lot of influence there. Kong of a few years ago would have been the perfect heel to face Bayley in NXT but I think her body is breaking down now.

I stopped watching TNA last year, I still record Impact every Sunday night, and the PPV events (free on a free UK Channel, beat THAT WWE!)
I was tempted to ask Dad if we could go to the Impact House Show in Manchester this past week, but he would've said no probably, besides I'm saving up to go to the WWE House Show at Sheffield Arena in April. |

Yeah, I'm sure WWE are really envious of TNA at this point in time...

I'm still confused why you're recording IMPACT every week if you're not watching it lol

Yeah, imagine having fans actually paying for your product.
![]() If it wasn't free I would never watch it I don't mind paying for WWE NJPW and more but even free I feel TNA is ripping me off. |

Yeah new reports saying she called Kong a "****ing maniac" which is what set Kong off.
Reby is lucky it was only her bags what went flying out Kong must have been in a good mood or Reby would still be in mid flight. |

TNA should just make her lose a few matches by pinfall. She aint anything special. |

Angle suffered an injury scare in his penultimate match for TNA. It was thought he suffered a concussion but managed to complete his final match against Bobby Roode last night. He is now a free agent.

James Storm sucks, he was in WWE NXT for all of 5 minutes and then went back to TNA to reform Beer Money with Bobby Roode.

He will be in the HOF class of 2017 I would guess. |

Impact is pretty good at the moment. I'm relieved. It's a shame they're not able to build the show around talents like AJ, Aries & Joe anymore, but it's back to being an entertaining two hours.
LOL at the WWE fanboys who are now creaming themselves over Styles and Joe, but wouldn't watch them in a TNA ring. If WWE ever give Aries a prominent role (my guess is they wont), watch him take off. That guy has always had the potential to be CM Punk & Daniel Bryan combined. |

Styles and Joe were booked awfully in periods in TNA. TNA was so awful at times I think a loit of people couldn't be bothered to watch the show just to see them. Both were always talented. Styles NJPW period and Joe's NXT period helped showcase their talent without the horrible booking.
Isn't it more likely that TNA's smaller following is down to production values and brand awareness rather than 'booking quality'? |

What specifically was wrong with the TNA booking which is right with the WWE booking?
Isn't it more likely that TNA's smaller following is down to production values and brand awareness rather than 'booking quality'? Joe has been pushed as a star in NXT, with him pushed as a serious threat to the NXT title. In TNA, he was pushed strong at the start in TNA, but did end up doing stuff such being kidnapped by ninjas and having a penis painted on his face, so immediately his current run is an improvement. TNA's smaller following is down to long periods of horrible booking scaring off any potential new fanbase, so when Impact did produce some good storylines, people had already been runoff. |
