I'm starting to wonder about AJ's character. He's not really getting any sort of reaction, as if fans don't know what to make of him.

When Sting was doing the character it was one of WCW's big stories. With AJ in TNA, it just seems to be plodding with no real aim.

I do feel for AJ, as he's an extremely talented worker, He just needs to have a storyline to work to give his character some sort of purpose.

Also, in regards to Rampage. Has he had any wrestling training? Could he get in the ring and work a match for example now that he's in the MEM or is he just their backup or similar.

I think the Knockouts are the one indisputable area in which TNA outperforms WWE.
The only trouble is, TNA only seem to have about five of them, and so getting anything different going, or non-repetition between them becomes hard after a while.

Speaking of the Knoutouts division, another one bites the dust.

http://www.diva-dirt.com/2013/07/16/...leased-by-tna/

An already small division has just got smaller, who is left, Mickie, Gael, Tayrn, and ODB (even if she is a ref now), have I missed anyone??

Such a shame really, as it used to be a selling point of TNA, and miles ahead of the Divas, now the situation has somewhat been reversed.

Ahh yes, how could I forget those Pigeons??!

So that takes the number up to four, if we don't include ODB, that is not really a good thing, where are the Blossom Twins? Even having them would help, as it would mean two more people to have feuds with, as at the moment, they are going to run out pretty quickly.

TNA executive producer Eric Bischoff commented on the departure of Tara (a/k/a Lisa Marie Varon) and DOC (a/k/a Drew Hankinson). "Best of luck and much respect for Marie Varon," Bischoff wrote. "Marie is a positive, talented, powerful performer that I will miss. Kick ass girl!

"Nothing but respect for Drew Hankinson. Hoping to get to work with him some day in the future. Great 'Big Man' with a great work ethic." Following Bischoff online at Twitter.com/EBischoff

Powell's POV: For those who missed it earlier, TNA announced that Tara had been released from her contract, and then Hankinson announced that his contract expired on July 12 and the two sides officially parted ways on Tuesday.

Dot Net TNA News: Top executive expected to leave the company, agent out, as major office shakeup continues
Jul 16, 2013 - 10:20 PM

By Jason Powell

The restructuring within TNA has led to a number of wrestlers being released from their contracts or the company allowing talent contracts to expire. It is also affecting the office side of the company. Multiple sources report that Bruce Prichard, Sr. Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations, was among the office personnel asked to restructure his deal. Prichard is said to have rejected that request. It is believed that his days with TNA are coming to an end barring an unexpected twist.

Powell's POV: Meanwhile, the TNA agents were also asked to restructure their deals to a per night agreement. The word in TNA circles is that D-Lo Brown agreed to the per night agreement recently only to be fired by the company shortly thereafter. An attempt to reach Brown for comment on his status was not successful.

As far as Pritchard goes, I think he was never really going to survive almost letting Bobby Roode's contract expire. If the situation regarding D'Lo is true though, it's a bit of a shitty thing to do because he apparently accepted a pay cut and was still released ..

Personally, I think TNA are counting the cost of taking impact on the road and not having the financial base that the WWE has, so they're having to cut costs and streamline.

So, that now takes things up to a grand total of six people (if we still include ODB as a performer, and not just a ref), still not really a division that is it, more of a group.

IF it's true, which I doubt, it would have had to have been a major falling out for it to happen since, as you say, he only recently re-signed with them.

Taz is still in the company. There was a situation involving him at the tapings (not gonna spoil it because it still has to air on Challenge) but basically it's nothing serious and he'll be back at the next tapings in 2 weeks.

Everybody with ears, I think.

Don West knew how to make great calls. The closest thing we've ever had to JR.

He was just starting to get good as a heel commentator when they replaced him with Tazz, shame.

I loved Don West on the commentary with Tenay, think they should have kept him tbh, Tazz isn't bad though, he just sounds like Peter Griffin to me

I normally just sit back and enjoy TNA for what it is and don't try to be too much of an anorak, but can somebody tell me what the Sabin match was all about? I thought they were pushing him as a bit of a golden boy and I can understand that it is good for the X-division guy to win at an X-division special, but he spent most of the time lying there with Bully undressing him while supposedly pounding on his knee now and again.... and then Sabin wins by a cheat? Oh and what is supposed to have happened with Kurt in the truck?

Most of that match was unpleasant to watch, given that, yet since it was so one sided Sabin was bound to win, that always happens and usually because someone cheated, but then since being hit with a hammer was how Bully won the title in the first place it was always likely to end that way as well the only suprise being it ended the way it did.
