It's almost like Panda Energy said "Allright, enough of this. You've been around for 10 years and all we did was losing money. From now on you go on with Spike's money and what you get from the live events". Sadly, TNA is nowhere near ready to do that and they're cutting everything they can. What happened with Sorensen is deplorable. Even if he was making more than a normal producer he wasn't becoming rich, so cutting him off after slightly more than a year after the accident and after Dixie promised, apparently, that he would have a job for life with TNA really comes off as low (WWE, to make a comparison, kept Droz employed for nearly 8 years and gave him a pretty hefty settlement before releasing him. Matt Cappotelli, a guy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor, stayed employed with WWE for more than 3 years. They fired Test while he was nursing a neck injury but then they brought him back, so they kinda corrected that mistake -plus he had other issues that sadly led to his demise-). I wouldn't be shocked to read Zema Ion as one of the next releases, which would be low as well considering TNA didn't help him with his medical bills.
