For the latest set of TNA ratings here in the UK they did 133,000 viewers on Challenge. That's not bad at all for original programming.

People should look at WWE on Sky Sports. WWE is consistenly under 100k for Raw and Smackdown. The last viewing figures for Sky Sports had 86,000 watching Raw live and only 54,000 watching Smackdown live. None of the repeats made any of the top 10s. The lowest of all Sky Sports channels being 17,000.

In other words even though 86,000 watched Raw live and 54,000 watched Smackdown live. Out of all those repeats Sky Sports show and any other WWE shows they have, none of them got more than 17,000 viewers which is very very low. That right there tells you for that week ending December 4th the WWE had at the very most only 86,000 viewers in the UK. Not even 100,000.

If we go to the week prior Raw and Smackdown again fail to hit 100,000 viewers but we see a repeat of Smackdown gets 13,000 viewers. It's not as if WWE are doing great on Sky Sports.

So TNA does have more viewers in the UK than the WWE and both companies are lucky to get that.
You have to bear in mind though that raw and smackdown are behind an expensive paywall of sky sports. Tna isn't. If both were on freeview it would undoubtedly be a different story

I would suspect if TNA gets a UK deal, it would be with a low profile channel like Viceland, basically in the middle of nowhere in the sky EPG.
Just like Challenge then.

Total Nonstop Deleeetion is great!
Utterly stupid but laugh out loud funny and truly deeelightful!
And well done King Maxel!
Give the Hardys their own series and I'll happily watch.

I'll be watching tomorrow!
I'm glad TNA haven't (presumably) been censured by anyone for involving Maxel in this storyline, I can imagine that there are many people who would think it very inappropriate to involve a child so young in something like that, especially some of the in-ring segments.

Yeah it totally stinks, just Matt using his ginormous ego to put a child, who knows nothing (quite literally) over at Spud's expense, totally stupid decision.

It is as if no-one dare say no to Matt on anything he suggests.

Even the man with three H's would be proud of the way we buried this young, promising talent!

Spud used to be a decent wrestler when he was in the UK scene but TNA just makes him look like a joke.

I quite like him, and I think if used correctly he could do very well for himself, but alas having him job to a pre-teen baby, and also a dwarf/midget is not the way to achieve that.

that was why the disco inferno appeared after it with the "in" joke from the wcw days

spud played the gimmick jobber role.. and he does really well at it

i loved that line....
one of a few "in" digs (like the disco inferno one after the first gimmick match) that made me chuckle.

pity the wcw "3 count" regeneration didnt see shannon moore briefly return too. but, can't have it all.

i thought it was brilliantly funny... a bit messy and long winded in places though and a few moments where the lack of budget showed (the fake wall over an open door held that way by a bin). the action "choppyness" hurt it a bit, but the wwe has awful pregnant pauses when they do the "cut off the person talking with the opposition entering the arena" script points & the person who was talking runs out of script and it comes over as unnatural. so swings and roundabouts really...

if tna and the hardys went their own way in the future i could see the wwe happily repeat it with their talent in there... not call it non stop deletion of course but adapt the old ppv title "in your house" to "in hardy's house" or something...

well that's it for me...
with no sign of tna getting onto any of the 260+ channels i have (or the on demand / streaming exclusive shows section of my cable box such as hayu or the box sets) and with no intention of buying further channels (ie amazon, netflix or the fight network) i doubt i will see much more tna... i wont bother with the best of 2016 show...

while i have wwe raw & smackdown via my sky sports subscription it is too childish to watch... "the new day" represents everything that is wrong with the wwe, and they clearly have no intention of moving away from that 8 year old audience aim...

so goodbye wrestling... it's been a welcome silly distraction

right... now to play tears for fears "mad world" as i seem to humm it after every time the broken hardys music is played

Well to be fair to Disco he wasen't a jobber. He won a few titles and had a decent run.

Well he could have and should have said no.

Well he could have and should have said no.
he was screwed by the "illegitimate child of vince" who has held the "wwe cruiseweight belt"
postl is a legitimate gimmick artist... and spud played the major gimmick matches of the show. the storyline was fine as it was one of a few prominent "in jokes" on the wcw & wwe. why say no

nothing wrong with that as long as it is as a valued performer not a rubbish their name match (see how disco then left the wcw, hence the cameo comment on the non stop deletion show)

Jesus Christ, people getting gravely offended by booking decisions in Final Deletion really takes the biscuit.

Why so?

What is wrong with having issues with how it was put together?

Well I enjoyed Final Deletion. I thought it was a brave attempt to do something different. It did become far too disjointed in places, and it was impossible to believe in the fights when they were often so obviously edited together from different takes, but it was still great fun.
I hope they don't succumb to the temptation to do things like that too often though!
I for one will miss being able to easily watch TNA every week, it was good to have some other pure entertainment wrestling to watch regularly that wasn't from WWE.

Which bits may I ask did you enjoy?

It is a shame that the deal with Challenge is over, as it was nice to have it on the TV, at a decent time, and I doubt that we will see such a partnership once more over here like that.
