Last nights TNA was great, finally after weeks of crap they had some good matches.
Anderson v Bully was really good, im sick of Bully now but the match was pretty decent. Styles v Aries was epic, two of the best going at it, really great match. Magnus v Roode was another good match, a few mis-steps but otherwise prett decent.

That was the first Impact I've seen in a few weeks and it was pretty darn good. TNA works well when they cut out the nonsense and put some effort in. I wonder where they'll go with Anderson seeing that it's rumoured that his contract is running down. They have a lot of faces to put in feuds of Bound for Glory - Aries, Magnus, Hardy etc. Hopefully things pick up more consistently when the Aces & 8s story finally ends. No more factions for a while please.

Oh dear, what a wretched PPV, one of the worst wrestling PPV i have ever seen.
Most of it was flashbacks, hugely extended flashbacks and riddled with knockouts who are not on the roster or should not be on the roster. |

Just reading that it's apparently a "done deal" that Impact is coming off the road and going back to a single location which is a shame. I hope they can at least choose an arena where the fans are likely to be in to the product and not kill it stone dead like the orlando crowd did.
They must be really struggling financially if they're having to do this though .. |

Terrible episode this week, Dixie as a heel, just doesn't work.

And I thought it was brave of TNA to have AJ make that speech, as he seemed to address a lot of the gripes that a lot of fans have at the moment - letting good talent go to waste, firing people all over the place, all that crap with the MMA stars etc etc. It seems a rather risky strategy though. I'm intrigued enough to see how this will play out, but it could equally backfire, as criticising the show to that extent might make viewers wonder why they are continuining to watch such a poorly run company. |

I thought that bit with AJ and Dixie reminded me a bit of a couple of things, first of all I think AJ was kind of teasing winning the belt and taking it elsewhere (so a bit like what started the whole Survivor Series 97 incident), and secondly Dixie going heel like that, kind of made me think of TNA trying to go down a Vince/Stone Cold sort of situation.
Also Dixie saying she built the company etc, why no mention of JJ?? I guess it doesn't work well within the storyline, but to airbrush Jeff out of TNA history is a bit harsh! |

I don't think AJ will win the belt, with Dixe as a heel, i think she'll be in with the A&8s, and have some sort of hand in him not winning it
![]() A&8s could have all fallen apart by then now though, as that roads already started. |

Actually I didn't think she was that bad - funnily enough, she seems more comfortable being a bitch!

What has happened to the once in depth tag team division?
It seems to be another one affected by cut-backs sadly. |

Perhaps it wasn't such a good decision to take Impact on the road after all.

TNA is such a joke. I did catch this episode, but Dear Lord, it was awful as expected. Sums up their state in the world where they acknowledge on TV how shit they are perceived.

The real problem is the lack of x division matches. X division was TNAs signature for a long time, now it seems to have been abandoned for the most part.
), and Tara got the shove, Angelina Love seems to have disappeared as well, used to have quite a few women, but all disappeared.

I still remember the tag line, "its not about weight limits, it is about no limits!", in regards to the X-division, (probably a reason to allow Samoa Joe into it in the first place), which I thought was quite a good one.
Now though, it just seems like yet another cruiserweight division, with barley enough people there to call it a division. TNA has lost its way recently, and lost what set it as part from WWE, now more so than ever, it just looks like a direct copy sadly. |
