It's not really a case of being spoiled - I just want to hear the promos. I get what they're going for with that backstage reality stuff but I need to be able to hear it.

Also, just pick a fixed camera angle for the matches. They're flying about and zooming in more than WWE does with a Shield attack. I'm gonna get dizzy!
At least with the backstage stuff they're not doing that ridiculous thing they were doing before with them shooting from outside half-closed doors, which is fine when you do it once but when you do it all the freaking times it makes everyone look like idiots for not closing the doors in the first place.

I'll be totally honest; I thought that show was too promo heavy. You've got a crowd frothing at the mouth to go crazy for some wrestling, and you wear them out with endless talking.

I can see why crowd reaction is a problem for TNA on TV - they burn their crowds out. It's partly a scheduling issue, a logistics issue. I hope they can learn and sort it out.

Promo-heavy shows are OK but the promos have to be good segments in their own right. Unfortunately, TNA have lately taken to using promos to hype matches for a taped show.

We've got a casket match and a Monster's Ball match - on a taped show. Why were these not hyped LAST week so we could have them live this week instead?

Just look at who's getting elevated. Wolves (rejected by WWE) EC3 (released) and now MVP (long forgotten released) and you've got Angle constantly saying he wants to go back to WWE. It's all a bit....meh.

Push your own talent ahead of others
Come on now, that's tremendously harsh. The Wolves cannot in any world be considered an ex-WWE talent anymore than Aries can (a Tough Enough reject). Even EC3 never got past NXT in WWE. The only exception in your list is MVP and he's hardly going to be pushed to the moon.

They have done a much better job the past few years of building their own talent back up again. In fact all their current champions are TNA originals.

The show had too many promos. Also being a fan of logic, this show suffered from what a lot of modern wrestling suffers from.

Nice to see the last 3 posts are from people who actually engage with the product and have something positive to say unlike the majority of the bashing that goes on on here.
I just don't get why people feel the need to go online and play armchair Booker and slag a promotion off when they are contributing nothing to it.
I buy merchandise and once a year pay to go to the Wembley show because I love wrestling but wwe isn't for me. I feel no need to venture into the wwe thread and moan about their direction. I await the tidal wave of 'im entitled to my opinion' comments but seriously, isn't life too short as it is?!

I hate people complaining so I'm going to complain about it. Ok.

Ever thought about the possibility of liking TNA but disagreeing with their current direction? Just a possibility though

There is also the saying if you have nothing nice to say about something don't say anything Not that I subscribe to such a thought but I think the above point is trying to say is some people never say anything positive about TNA, ever no matter what.

If they are a fan then they can say what they like lol. I understand that but some people criticise WWE for everything they do, it's just how it is unfortunately

Surely if someone never says anything nice about either TNA or WWE that means they aren't a fan but are a critic instead.

Only my first sentence is about the fans really. Obviously people just say what they think about both companies. I've said things that were bad about TNA but I also see the positives of some things.

At the minute, the bad outweighs the good unfortunately

A few pages back:

Well Vince will be crying himself to sleep following that amazing acquisition of ex WWE talent
I don't think I've ever seen you say something nice about TNA.

Two pages back I said Genesis 2 was a good show? And do you disagree that MVP is hardly a star signing that is going to shape up TNA?

Ah! You totally did. Okay, I retract that statement. Sorry. And I'm not even going to do a "But..".

I'm actually amazed TNA are signing anyone right now. I was pretty meh about MVP, but having seen him last night in Manchester, I'm 100% sold. He actually is shaping up TNA, as crazy as that sounds.

The thing about keeping Vince awake at night or whatever: Nothing TNA do could make the slightest dent in WWE's US operations. That's why that comment riled me! TNA are just a small company, but some WWE fans (not singling you out here) feel the need to attack and belittle everything they do, as if it's news that they're relatively small time. WE KNOW!

I know I come across and anti-TNA but really I'm not. If I'm anything, I'm anti-TNA-today.

I was a 13/14 year old when I started watching TNA weekly PPVs on The Wrestling Channel. I loved what TNA was back then, fresh and exciting wrestlers giving high paced action.

Just for me personally, the production values of Thursdays show didn't show an improvement on TWC. It just looked minor league. They pulled a bloody good crowd though, as they always do in the UK.

I've laid out my points against TNA and their decisions, the main one is factions of ex-WWE guys trying to take over the show as heels. Dixie Carter is a heel, but I don't dislike her because of her heel character, I dislike her because she can't act her character.

I'm proud that the little company that launched all those years ago has become a national company, that can pull in a crowd like the UK one in Glasgow and for me at least, I can't fault the majority of the in-ring work which is great for the most part, it's the storylines that lead to the matches I find myself disliking.

Again, it's just personal to me, I just feel sad for the people that work their arses off that their work in the ring isn't complimented by great writing and storylines.

To be clear, I truly want TNA to succeed, even when being in the process of buying shares in WWE, because lack of competition leads to a higher level of complacency on WWE's part. I don't want the company that was an alternative to fail, but at the same time I don't want it to become a pale imitation of a WWE brand.

I really am a fan lol.
