Does any one agree with me, when I say EC3 is starting to grow on me, and I would fancy he may turn against Dixie. I am saying that because the last few Dixie/Ethan "bits" have not ended too well for Ethan, resulting in him looking pee'd off.
#Also who is going to be EC3's tag partner when he cashes in his Feast or Fired case? Magnus? Spud? Sting??? |

I agree that there seem to be cracks appearing in EC3's relationship with his 'Auntie'. This could be fun.
The talk above about a tag partner for him has got me thinking. Had EC3 been introduced earlier then someone like Matt Morgan would have been a good partner. How about Roode? |

Thoughts on Impact?
I think Tim Burton Jeff could be a lot of fun, but I do wonder what his younger fans will make of it, and what it might do to TNA’s merch sales. I honestly think Dixie has improved a lot, and she works well with MVP. The line through the office and their bickering made me laugh. Was MVP this charismatic in WWE? I wasn't watching wrestling during his run there. I think TNA are doing really well with their midcard at the moment. Everybody's got direction, and it's making for a show which is top-to-bottom entertaining. There's no random matches, or talented wrestlers getting jobbed out for no reason. History would suggest TNA won't be able to keep this up but it'll be good for wrestling if they can. |

A word for the Knockouts as well. Right now if you put them in an Invasion-style plot where they take on the Divas of the WWE, going on natural talent alone and ability, I would say the Knockouts would win hands down. Gail Kim is probably the best women's wrestler around at the moment. She wrestles with the same talent for me as any male wrestler. In ODB we have someone who destroys the myth that women wrestlers have to be all feminine. She is tough! And in Lei'D Tapa and the new Alpha Female we have two incredibly strong wrestling talent. The last time I saw the new Alpha Female she was absolutely pummeling Jack Whitehall in an episode of In A League of Their Own. We just need The Blossom Twins to be given a push.

Pluses
Pushing Joe. He seems to have a bit of momentum. MVP is fresh. He hasn't been on US mainstream TV for a while, so he's something different. Wolves are something new on TNA, so are a blank canvas is regards to what you can do. TNA comes off like a bigger deal on the UK shows. Negatives Too much Dixie. She's all over the show and it's grating. I'm not a fan of power struggles in wrestling. They've been done so many times over the last 15 years they need to be rested for a number of years so it's a fresh storyline down the line. You've also got the wacky logic of the angle as well but that's another thing. |

Is this all the nWo's fault? Still? Ugh. |

Totally agree about Joe, although I wish he was in better shape. Also, I like the short Wolf, not so keen on the taller one so far. But it's super early days with them.

The Wolves are talented, but they've got them talking more than wrestling, which is their strength.

What do you all think will be the result of the "power struggle"?
Obviously either Dixie or MVP, but what if there is a double count out or double dq. And will this be a wee storyline for Earl Hebner as he finally revoltes against Dixie and refuses to count etc |

I thought this power struggle was supposed to be resolved at Lockdown in a lethal Lockdown match, it probably won't be of course but it will keep everybody busy until then.
MVP is creating some buzz and and positivity towards the company. The question is when you pull the trigger on his "takeover". I would do it at Lockdown, because the goodwill is here now, and might not last until Sacrifice. The only way I'd wait until Sacrifice is if I could get AJ back for it. Combine his surprise return with MVP's final, crushing victory. Would blow the roof off. Probably 0% chance of happening, sadly. |

MVP only turned up at the first glasgow show and they're already doing a winner takes all show.
Jeez, Lagana has ADHD. |

Sam Shaw.
And yes it is wrestlecrap bad. It was obvious weeks ago that the character is a psycho stalker nutjob. Surely this doesn't need to be reiterated every week. Just get on with the story! Other than that - last night's Impact was a solid show. I'm really enjoying Gunner's appearances these days - they are perhaps overselling the War Hero angle a tad, but he's great in the ring and comes over very well on the filmed inserts. And (spoilered for those who prefer to watch on Tuesday night)
