That you'd have felt exactly the same things and felt exactly the same way? Sorry, but that's just crazy.”

I didn't enjoy the moment anyway. If id have known, I wouldn't have been shocked obviously but I still wouldn't have liked it.

But as I say, those spoiler tags have nothing to do with taping results so it's irrelevant

yes you are anti tna

and pro wwe. if wwe put on exact same show you would be lauding it as innovative.

just call it like you see it instead of picking sides, i used to do same with n64/ps1 when i was your age so i get it but you gotta grow out of it.

No I'm not and no I wouldn't. If I'm anti something, I don't watch it.

I don't find what TNA does now as innovative, I don't see what WWE does now is innovative. TNA was innovative, but they decided to turn into a WWE clone.

I've supported TNA's ratings where others have dismissed them, I've supported the TNA talent; just not bringing In ex-WWE after ex-WWE star, I've slated the last two Raw episodes.

If I didn't see potential in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, I wouldn't watch.

tna sucks

so many silly decisions

Blue ropes wtf- synomenous with B show.

dark dingy lighting and boring promos are their biggest issues

the story lines are pretty poor to boot.

Oh and I'm anti-TNA lol. Although I do agree with the silly decisions and blue logo/ropes.

Tna has too small a roster to work "good swerves" - its very linear with very obvious routes where "swerves" are half expected because of the lack of options.
It is a pity because some of their characters are very good, they just do not have the asset to work them out like, say, wcw or wwe size shows.

That's a good point. The roster is very small at the moment. When MVP was saying Eric Young was going to defend against somebody he hadn't faced before, you were thinking: "Erm. That leaves about two guys".

So anyway, last night I really enjoyed the tag match. There were some absolutely phenomenal spots. The ladder stomp, the suplex to the outside (always wanted to see what would happen if you tried that), launching Zema from the top of the ladder to the outside. Absolutely top class stuff.

I think EY / MVP for Slammiversary will be a good match, but I don't like the fact they've turned MVP. The whole reason the title ended up on EY was because TNA don't have enough faces. Well, now they've one less

Loved the Menagerie. Crazy, fresh, fun gimmick with loads of potential.

According the JB, Impact is back on the road until further notice after this set of Universal tapings have aired. Absolutely great, awesome news.

Why are you critical of TNA? It's making the thread too smarky FFS.

I think this is a big part of why you guys can't enjoy TNA. If you go ahead and read taping spoilers, how are you ever going to be surprised by anything? You make up your mind what you think of the show before you've even seen it! How can you claim you're giving it a fair shake?”

There used to be a US pace thread, but I think it's been removed.

If TNA is good, I'll say so. If the programme is bad, I'm not going to pretend otherwise through my hope for a successful alternative promotion.

The show was pretty poor to be fair. The best thing on the show was the tag, which was good. The oddities 2k14 was fairly guff, Beautiful People stuff was pretty bad and has been since they've reformed and MVP's heel turn was horrible. Another heel power figure. It's so overdone it's ridiculous and that goes for WWE as well.

Lets have a neutral power figure rather than a heel stacking the deck. It's been going on since the attitude era and that was over 15 years ago.

That New York crowd is likely to be very smarky and it won't help if all of them are chanting 'change the channel' at something they dislike.

Kinda amazing that if TNA makes it to October it'll have existed for longer than WCW did, 12 years 4 months.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion of course

I still think some of you guys would enjoy the show more if you didn't read spoilers. I also think there's a tendency to see the bad in everything TNA does, while giving certain other promotions a free pass for a very similar product (albeit with higher production values). But there you go.

I'm always interested in posts which say what they think TNA should be doing differently, rather than just: "TNA is awful" / "TNA is doomed" with no constructive criticism. I agree about a neutral power figure! Heel authority figures are so tired, you're right, and I was enjoying MVP as a face authority. It was a breath of fresh air.

I agree to an extent, which is why I wouldn't just say TNA are in a bad place. I do think they have a lot going for them, and it wouldn't take much to tweak things.

I don't think talking about one spoiler makes anybody a hater, just defending myself on that one I'm not sure about anybody else

I totally don't mind people talking about spoliers! And you guys have been very considerate and careful with the spoiler tags, so thanks for that.

My point was just that I think you might enjoy the product more if you didn't read spoilers. I know I enjoy WWE a lot less if I've been spoilered before I have chance to watch a show.

I've read spoilers and not read spoilers about TNA. A good angle is a good angle. Reading spoilers about stuff like Sam Shaw and the Menagerie is garbage regardless.

MVP thing is just stupid. I knew they were going to turn him heel at some point during this TNA tenure, as most people do, but it's way too early in his run for him to go heel, especially after his fairly recent Dixie power struggle.

You mean ONGOING Dixie battle.
This is TNA not letting one story end before the next starts, which seems to have been given to Bully Ray for what can only be described as a rehash of "Stone Cold Vs McMahon".
I do like TNA, and sorry guys, I do like Mike Tenay as well. I just think they need to go back to near the original product. Bring back the X division proper, Build up a decent roster, and for the love of God add more tag teams, seriously getting bored of Bromans Vs Wolves. Did they miss the opportunity to bring back Beer Money?

In my opinion, the double standards to which TNA and WWE are held is mindboggling.

I caught the Albany Raw last night. Christ, I nearly fell asleep. If that's a good show and The Menagerie is "garbage" then I don't think we're ever going to see eye-to-eye.

Raw was very poor bar the main event angle and The Menagerie is a lowcard goof troop. However its Knux so it doesn't really matter. Also is gives Rob Terry a chance to what he does best. Look impressive and not wrestle.

The consensus on the WWE thread was that the Albany Raw was very poor except for the Shield vs Wyatts match at the end.
