Joseph Parks is a great character, lol.
I wonder when they will have him remember that he used to be Abyss? Has to happen sometime.

If TNA stick to the 4 live PPVs a year, I wonder if they will bring the taped PPVs here next year?

Well I think the idea is to build him slowly in comedy match-ups, with him slowly getting better and in more serious match-ups, eventually Abyss will be reborn with a real back story but they need to milk Joseph Parks first, he's great. On a side note, you lot need to watch Spin Cycle on Xplosion, it's a good show but with parks on it's well funny.

It's likely that a group of hardcore TNA fans make up the majority of the buys they get for their PPV's, so it's probable they would still do so even if it was in the UK and shown mid afternoon in the USA.

Only the main 4 are live, the one night onlys are taped. I think he meant the taped ones.

I'm sure they're not doing the One Night Only PPV's next year, they only did them to meet contractual obligations, so unless they're a huge success (which they won't be) I can't see TNA doing more then their 4 main PPV's.

I've been doing the same, I'm upto 1998 now, do you download yours?
No Ive been watching them on my phone on Youtube. I have been able to find most of them (sometimes in one go often in multiple parts) then watching the relevant PPV where it should go-dreading when I have to find Thunders as well.
I watch them in bed when until I fall asleep, so as terrifying as it sounds, the last thing I see before falling asleep can be Tony Schiavone, Giant or Scott Hall-Im amazed I don't have more nightmares.

The football things been going on up here for years because it was the worst kept secret here in Glasgow that Celtic regularly shaved thousands off their attendance to avoid paying the tax.
People would attend a near full stadium, with a 67,000 capacity on a Saturday and open the paper on a Sunday morning to see a quoted attendance in the 40s and give each other a knowing smile.
The police eventually requested the change in the system as they based their numbers on the previous seasons average attendance sending 1 officer per "x" number of fans apart from Old Firm games which are guaranteed sellouts, and they were woefully undermanned for some games because the figures had been constantly under-reported for years before.
Now they have to declare every ticket sold to show how many people had a ticket of any kind, and could potentially have been there for forecasting future games-even if they look suspiciously like a blue or green seat.

I buy them on DVD, I've got ever Nitro and ppv from 1996, 1997, looking at getting 1998 now. If you need any copies I'll send them to you or put them online for you to watch, just pm me.

Is anyone thinking that this Aces and Eights storyline is getting more and more like the old Alience invasion storyline?
I half expect Hulk to rip off Vince and call them the cancer of the show.

It's a carbon copy of the nWo storyline at the moment, especially with the A.J bit, nowt wrong with that though.

What would be the point? Nothing in the UK airs live? And broadcasting LIVE around the world from the UK would be a needless expense with no benefits.

Mate, he's not talking about the big 4 ppv's, he's talking about the One Night Only ppvs, which are taped.

Nobody has any idea if AJ Styles is going to play a 'white knight' role. It's fantasy booking and far too early to tell if TNA are going that direction.

For all we know this is leading to a Hulk Hogan title run

Yes. In fact that's one of the main reasons TNA had to make them, because many of their international TV deals stated that they got 12 PPVs.

But thats how Stings story started, no one knew what was going on until he revealed himself.

Last year I actually predicted Bully v Hogan for this years Lockdown, I was wrong but I think it will happen.
