I haven't had a chance to catch the show given the World Cup, but heard good things from various people. Heard the crowd reactions were strong.

I'll have to try and get some time to dig it out.

I thought Impact this week was a bit of a shambles. Way too much MVP, far to many things going on in that one story and barely anything else. Only two segments on the show didn't have MVP and one of them was Dixie's nonsense. Not sure how I feel about Lashley as champion but I suppose he needs time.

A weird move to take your biggest show to Japan in a 2000 seat building. Meltzer reckons TNA have Japanese sponsors paying for the show which helps cost aspects. Also the show is likely to be taped rather than aired live.

Personally if they're fine with having BFG on tape delay, they should do the show in the UK. Probably do pretty good well attendance wise.

Apparently it's part of a deal with Wrestle-1 promotion in Japan. I agree a strange place to start international PPVs but hopefully they've costed it out properly.

Definitely a taped show, it starts at noon Sunday live, which is 11pm on Saturday US east coast time.

The New York set up does look cool. I'll definitely be watching those episodes.

Maybe they're doing BFG in Tokyo in the hope that Meltzer will give all the matches 5 stars.

EC3 and Aries are not too impressed with the fans deciding on whether six sides returns.

It does look cool though.

I'm not a fan of the 6 sides. It looks like a playpen, but they've listened to the hardcore fans and that's what they want.

I remember hearing AJ sharing his dislike for that ring due to the structure under the canvas has less give and this makes it harder for bumping. Especially if you're doing a fast paced style.

It doesn't really matter anyway. What goes on inside the ring is what matters.

It probably won't make much of a difference being taped as most hardcore TNA fans will likely order the PPV anyway.

If they can hold a PPV in Japan, surely one in the UK can't be far behind?

I think TNA's (alleged) figures won't be too affected by a taped show. I'm not sure whether WWE would risk it.

It appears so. They had a fan vote on their website. The New York tapings have the 6 sided ring so it looks like a permanent switch.

Kind of enjoyed Impact last night, although it suffered from a major case of rehash-itis. Just the same matches from the PPV and the last few weeks rearranged. All wrestling shows do this from time to time, but I still find it boring.

I'm just about sick of this casino venue now. Does anyone know when the New York shows start airing?
