I wouldn't say they deserve to fold, that's harsh on the employees, but in the circumstances of not having a new network, the Carter family need to sell up because they quite blatantly aren't acting in the best interests of the company.
If the Russo thing is true, can the family truly believe he is worth more than national television exposure?
