![]() outside of heyman feel free to name me a booker that has done TNA or RAW in last 15 years and has been great. Kurt Angle says he will be resigning too so that is good news. |

I think FMKK fancies someone in that thread. We'll need to work out who it is, someone that stays up with them at the same time lol.

Appears Austin Aries has re-signed with the company as well - more good news.
Aries has been one of the most consistently watchable wrestlers that TNA has had. I can't think of a single match he's taken part in where he didn't give 110%. |

For those who don't know there is a PPV on tonight on challenge at 10pm, Victory Road, I'm presuming this has not been on before, but it seems to have just come out of the blue, there was no mention of it before Impact finished

I quite like it and by the visual on the logo the six sided ring is staying, which is a good thing in my opinion. Hopefully they replace the blue ring ropes with silver ones too.

One of the guys on the Observer board reckons the font and lettering isn't properly lined up, so he corrected it.
http://i.imgur.com/gFWaZQC.gif One of the things that I really hate about it, and I may have mentioned this here once or twice, where is the TNA logo? I really do wonder who is branding this company and deciding to omit their frigging logo. The website is exactly the same. I just think it could have been done better. I don't like the IMPACT font at all. For me, it's almost worse than GFW's logo and that's bloody awful. |

I honestly don't want to indulge in schadenfreude re TNA unless they do something to deserve it, but Friday night = US tv ratings death.

I don't think referring to TNA is any different than most people in the 90's talking about Titan Towers for WWF. Impact Wrestling is a much better name it's a fresh start for them on a new network, the audience wont be as big, many will most likely DVR the show anyway. TNA should be the name for the office. The umbrella.
And remember with fonts and logos they will change the colour of them and have different backgrounds so it may look better when you see the TV show graphics and how they use them on posters, they wont always be those colours. True wrestling fans will always support wrestling. It's always been the cool thing over the years for the IWC to hate on anything non WWE and real wrestling fans always give different companies a chance. All alternatives should be welcomed. WWE for all the good years they gave us well over a decade now. The last real good year they had was 2003, really are very very bad just now and there's no sign of it getting better. TNA will hit their reset button once again and if they can make it work then good for them and good for people like me and good for the wrestlers and office workers because it keeps them in a job, any company that allows professional wrestlers to go and make a living should be applauded regardless of what you think of their creative output. That's why lots of people are getting behind Lucha Underground and want that company to grow, they are fresh and far more entertaining than WWE is and hopefully TNA can put on a show that is completely different from Lucha Underground and WWE and regardless of what the ratings are, hopefully they can all make money and make a profit and keep running shows and keep their TV contracts and the people signing those contracts are happy with the results. We're long past this competition phase of wrestling. Wrestling will never be popular again. There will never be another boom period. It is a TV show that has been around for so long and there is nothing new to see. What we seen in the 90's was the last roll of the dice after the magicians exposed the secret which is that it's not real and that it is fake. And what you had was the stars of yesteryear, still young enough to compete at a high level and I'm talking about the Hogan's and Randy Savages here......who had a big name in the 80's when people still didn't know for sure if it was fake and you had guys slightly younger that were just coming into their own, guys like Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin and everyone, at the same time, came together and they played their roles perfectly. Some hit their prime at the same time, the established stars had new life breathed into them and we seen those unseen matches like Hogan vs Flair on TV again, we seen a more vicious side to these older wrestlers who were very cartoonish and friendly in the 80's. It was like one last big celebration of wrestling and the adult themes of the Attitude Era were just a side product of that. Ever since then wrestling has went dowhill consistently. It's never been the same since then and if people are honest with themselves they would admit it too. |

I hate this idea that the so-called "internet fans" just hate everything non-WWE. TNA shouldn't get a free pass for doing stupid shit and putting on bad shows just because they're an alternative. I don't want any old alternative, I want something good.
I hope they can do something interesting with their reboot in January. They need to keep Lashley around because he's the best thing they have going right now. |

I'm looking forward to Roode vs Lashley!
... People slag him off for being quiet (& needing mvp as a mouthpiece) but what about brock he ain't exactly the rock is he? ![]() )But TNA have built him up really well as a killer and the fact he's doing some MMA for real helps the image too. I would like to see him get a long title run so TNA can build their next big star out of the one to finally beat him. Basically the current Lesnar storyline but more effective because Lashley is there more often. |

I thought Lashley sucked in WWE - couldn't talk very well, not as over as Vince thought he was and just not ready for the spot they wanted him to be in. (does that remind you of anyone btw?

But imo He's been the best tna champion in years! ... as for Roman Reigns Like ive said previously he's extremely limited (wrestling ability & mic skills) but like ryback he's got the look & that's all that matters in wwe! ... He'll sell merchandise!
