Just caught up on last night's corrie. Loved Carla defending Fiz, bless her. Agree with what someone said (downside to a new thread, can't MQ) about it being a shame Carla was sceptical, especially as she seemed to defend Tyrone at the wedding, but I think a combination of Peter standing up for Tyrone (lovely touch as well) and her talking to Fiz after the fight in the street will hopefully pull her on side. I guess maybe after all the Frank stuff she's thinking you can't ever know what goes on behind closed doors, and as nice as Tyrone appeared to everyone else, so did Frank, so.

I'm wondering if Kirsty's mask will start to slip between now and the trial, and whether people will start to suspect that maybe Fiz and Tyrone were telling the truth all along. The way Kirsty was goading Fiz about her being an ex-jailbird herself etc for me would've maybe set off alarm bells.

Re night shoots and fire talk, my family are coming 'up north' tomorrow as the brother has interview in manchester etc etc, anyway, I'm taking sis to see corrie gates (Carla love runs in the family of course!) and tweeted Ali S the other day to see if Alison would be in this friday, and apparently she hasn't been in at all this week/isn't in 'at the moment' . Since they are filming the fire scenes this week, I wonder if that means that she isn't going to be directly involved in the fire scenes, or whether she is involved further down the line or in a separate part of it etc etc. If that's true it is a shame, because it would be great to see her in that, but perhaps this means she might be gearing up for a bigger storyline after the fire storyline simmers down

I also wonder with Kirsty. I thought Eileen was looking a little bit uncomfortable when Kirsty was taunting Fiz.

That's odd they said she wasn't filming all week. Ali was def filming a night shoot monday. Someone met Ali at the gates on twitter and said she told them she finished at 5 am and hoped they wouldn't still be there then. She had a picture and everything of them with Ali, the lady and her little girl, so she def met her. And I'm sure someone said she was filming Tuesday as well, tho that might just have been presuming.

They have all filmed differently tho. I don't think Shobna herself joined them till Wednesday cos she wasn needed till then.

Hmm I would of thought Peter and Carla would be involved somewhere with the fire that's dissapointing if not! I really wanna find out now. I wonder what there next big storyline will be??

How strange, perhaps Monday was her final day, so when I asked (wednesday, with regards to tomorrow) the 'at the moment' was applied from then on? Other girls asked of Ali's working on the wednesday for that day, and again Alison Sinclair said she wasn't in that day.

That she was there doing a Monday night shoot does give me hope howver that she is involved, even just a little!

I asked about when their next big SL was and Ali J Corrie said we'd have to wait till the summer for a 'biggie' (NERVOUS PLEASE NOT PETANNE) but they'd be around most of the time until then

Oooh a 'biggie', that sounds ominous. I really hope Petanne is dead and buried at least for a while. I wonder what else they could do though? A carter wedding/baby?! A wedding would be amazing *sigh*

Ali was filming for the fire on at least the first two nights. Ali S kinda teesed confirmed it on twitter. People were talking about her not being in and involved in it, in relation to a the 2nd possible death, and she said 'well she was certainly stood in her killer heels both nights she was there.' So yeh probs on the outside of it all watching or something?

At the time I kind of read the tweet as meaning she wasn't at the moment, as in, she wasn't on the rota or whatever to be in but if filming overran or something she could be. It's confusing wording but yeah. I'm hoping she wasn't meaning from then for x days, as I'm there on Tuesday and really hoping to see her. I've tweeted Ali S to ask her whether Ali is in on the tues or wed (as we may pop down there before we leave on wed) so I'll let you all know what she says.


Kylie's baby wouldn't be due until a bit later than this would it? Not that it rules out this 'biggie' being connected, as it could well all come out and affect them somehow before the birth/it could be early, but I'm slightly hopeful it won't be to do with Leanne yet again. Otherwise, their only main storylines for an entire year would've revolved around Leanne/Nick, and how tedious would that be?
The fact that they seem to be taking a back seat plot wise at least gives me some hope that they'll be taking said back seat together, at least until this big summer plot comes around. So that gives another 4 months or so at least of carter


This is what I'm thinking. And also with K&D living next door to the pub, it's possible they're involved in that part of it, making sure they're safe or whatever. And Carla and Peter's flat is almost directly opposite the pub so it's not like they're not going to see what's going on or just be able to ignore it.

Unless she has the baby early? I don't know, I'm pretty sure a Petanne reunion is still to come, I really am. Although it would be nice if this 'biggie' was more positive for Carter.

Even when it comes out about the baby, I'm sure Leannes not going to instantly jump into Peters arms, her and Nick are married now, surely she'll want to try and make it work. And it's not like Nick even cheated on her really.

Exactly. They weren't actually together at the time, because Leanne's own lies etc ruined the wedding, so for her to play the poor victim in the situation would be a tad hypocritical really. Nick only ended up taking her back because she basically begged him and because he realised he did still love her. Obviously it's not that simple but the only one who really has the right to feel betrayed is David. My guess is after the drama next week it'll all be hushed up anyway and may not even come out until months down the line. Hey, it'll probably be this year's Christmas storyline or something And like you said, even if Leanne does just throw her marriage (and "destroy Simon's life" yet again) over it, that doesn't mean that she'll instantly want Peter back, or that Peter will want her back. As I said before, they've had little or no interaction since the wedding, and Peter seems perfectly happy with Carla, so I don't really see him throwing all that away just because Leanne is suddenly single. I can see him being happy that they've split up, because he hates Nick, but even Chris himself said Peter would be happy for Leanne to be with any other man besides Nick, so. I'm remaining optimistic and hoping this big sl in the summer is something unrelated. I know we all keep saying it but maybe it'll be something backstory-ish involving Rob, or even a wedding or something.

Was there any Carla in corrie tonight? Out for supper so will have to catch up! Met Julie Hes today and she was lovely, we chatted about her exit and then she said that Hayley escapes the fire thankfully! Perhaps she's involved in aiding people or providing coffee and brandy! Saw Dennis, Sean and Stuart Blackburn drive out, was only there for about 10 mins, but was pretty lucky!

No Carla or Peter tonight. Glad you had a good time at the gate.

At least we know they're definitely in it on Monday.
