It's been a busy week and I'm up to my ears in work stuff & personal stuff too. Wasn't planned, but hey, such is life.

Anyway, I do hope you are all well?

I'm glad to spot DS spoilers of Carter for next week. Yippee !! Looks like Carla is defending herself against the Stella/Leanne/Gloria family at the Bistro, and Peter seems to be holding Carla back from them. I must say, Carla is looking pretty foxy in what she's wearing. I cannot wait to see that particular episode.

Hey Holz - I was thinking about Leanne's hypocrisy,...when things kick off about the Kylie/Nick baby reveal,...I can still see Leanne getting on her high-horse despite everything, despite how she's treated Nick over the X'mas wedding episodes. It just seems to be the way the TPTB seem to want to play Leanne at the moment. Gone are all her redeeming characteristics - what we can recall of them, that is. Recalling that Leanne was once a very good friend to Carla (before the Carter reveal), and very supportive of Carla during the Liarla/Tony Gordon era. I digress though,...I mean, the way Leanne is now, when the big reveal occurs, I can still envisage Leanne acting as though she is without rebuke all the same.

*FaithE - It would be lovely to get a Carter wedding. We might just need something cheerful once the Rover's fire sl kicks off, and the aftermath. Seeing that there are reports that more than one person will die in the fire.



I was also thinking I'd much rather focus on Carla making headway with Simon, rather than her actually having a baby of her own. Not that I personally would mind. However, I'm not sure a baby would be on the cards just yet anyway. Seems there's been quite a lot of focus on babies in the Street atm. So, I can't see the Corrie writers introducing yet another baby.

*Mad - I really do hope we do NOT get a return to Petanne as you say, later this year. I'm not even sure I'd be able to stomach it after all this time. I really feel it would be ludicrous writing. But, then again, we've just suffered the indignity of watching Lewis and Gail, and then there was the spectacle of Karlita!! So, I suppose I should brace myself for disappointment.

I think the X'mas sl might actually be all about Haley than about the Kylie/Nick baby reveal being dragged out until then. I would have thought TPTB would want to give Hayley a fitting send off and the actress a poignant period in which to dramatise it.

Anyway, gotta fly. It's been a long day.

She was walking out and when we went to Trafford centre yesterday we drove past chill factor and all I could think of was imagine if Ali was in there snowboarding! There was a definite longing from me to go and reckie it!!!!!

It's so random the way she snowboards!

Re the Rovers fire, i'd be suprised if 2 people die, it's rare someone leaves without us knowing the actor is leaving beforehand. Remember the tram crash?

I just raced over to the main site in the hope of new, unseen photos. Disappointed. But yes, it definitely looks Carla is defending herself in the photo on the corrie website, probably from being called a slut or some such crap. Looking forward to this scene!


Oh, totally. I genuinely used to like Leanne back in the days of Tony/Liam, and I even forgave her for the whole hooker thing. But I've gone right off her in the last few years, she's just become a sanctimonious, hypocritical whinge to be honest. Has there been a single scene in the last year when she's ever had anything nice to say about anyone? Apart from Simon, that is.

I was thinking the same thing. The whole "3 funerals and a wedding" thing, and the third person was a tram driver. What a cop-out! They haven't actually said more than one person dies, they've just said it MIGHT be more than one. Meaning it probably won't be, or that someone will be seriously injured and fighting for their life for a few episodes or something. Although, if they are wanting a cull of some useless characters to make way for the new producer etc, this is an ideal way to do it.

Fabulous dress.

They both looked so showbiz like when they walked into the Bistro, adored the way that Carla's arm slipped into Peter's as they stood with Leanne almost showing a bit of ownership. and she referred to Peter as 'My Fella.' Tres cute.

They looked amazing.

Carla looked d i v i n e , esp her hair and make up. Loved her and Leanne's falseness with each other!

Hope she appears again soon, but fear we won't see her again for a while

I took it as progress as she was willing to stay on the mineral water all night, but Peter was happy for her to chug some vino! That Carla's in a good place and Peter is happy that she's in that place

So almost gave myself a scare at work when I picked up the paper and read 'Corrie fave Peter to be axed' in the showbiz preview. They were referring to the actor who plays Brian but normally they use the character's name instead. Really freaked me out.

I liked that Peter was happy for her to drink wine if she wanted, and loved that they clearly have discussions like that. They must both be in a good place for that to happen. Loved how Carla almost sauntered to the table on Monday night.

They definitely seem to be showing that Carla and Peter are in a good place together, and it's only Leanne and her family who have the issues. I still wonder if down the line Carla is going to find out the extent of Peter's actions on Christmas Eve, the scene on Monday was either purely to show that Gloria likes to cause trouble, or there was more to it. Carla saying; "fight her off you mean?" made it clear that she still doesn't know all the facts, not sure if that was there for a reason or not.

Still concerned over what this "biggie" storyline we've been promised in the summer is going to be...

Any Carla/Peter tonight? doesn't seem any written into the spoilers for at least the next two weeks

Peter was in it last night no carla the scene with him teasing gloria was quite funny, and he had scene with simon and eanne

I'm getting so frustrated by the lack of Carter lately as much as Ali and Chris are probably enjoying not being in the light as much, I can't wait for their big summer storyline!

Although on Wednesday when I was at the gates, I did see Ali and Chris come off set together and she was in her slippers and bare legs. She had her coat on so she could have just been wearing a dress, but I'm praying it was raunchy Carter scenes being filmed

Loving Carla's demon barbie comment to Rob tonight though, ha! :')

Hey guys!

I'll upload the photos tomorrow/sunday, but I was at the gates on mon and Tuesday and am still on a massive high at having met Ali twice! Admittedly the first time she was in a massive rush so I didn't even get an autograph as she late picking up Daisy, but I was stood inches from her which is dizzying in itself. Then on Tuesday me and the group I was with got her to stop (partly thanks to a makeshift banner we made out of boredom ) and I got a photo and autograph which I was chuffed about. I practically skipped back to the travelodge!

The only really gutting thing was on the wed, two of people I'd been with and I went down to the gates before we left, and I had to leave to get a train after an uneventful hour, only for Chris AND Ali to come out half an hour later, both stopping and getting photos with the other two people I'd been there with. Massively gutting but I still met Ali the day before soo.

I was playing sleuth while I was there, and I'll stick my random observations in spoiler tags, not because they really give anything away but yeah.

I'll do a MQ when I have more time, but I just thought I'd come and share

Oh, and the only thing I was gonna say is the news about Katie McGlynn joining corrie. We saw her arrive and leave there for her audition on Tuesday. I had no clue who she was, but the people I was with are WR fans so all got photos and whatnot. But yeah I had to smile to myself when I saw it on twitter.

On a more depressing note, I just rewatched this week's Carla/Peter scenes as I was either too busy squealing or was out when they were actually on, and as much as it pains me to say it I think we're being taken down the Leanne-still-has-feelings-for-Peter route The way she defending him in the bistro, whilst still insulting Carla so clearly not just trying to avoid a row, and then the whole "I don't know why you still give him the time of day" conversation with Gloria. Please, please let me be wrong, I really don't think I could bare yet another repeat of that.

RIGHT I'M JOINING HOLZ INTO LOOKING INTO THINGS!

Wasn't there a photo that Ali S tweeted where it looked like Chris in the background standing in the Barlow's doorway?

Hmm.

I'm getting my hopes up now despite the fact that we've been told they've got no big storylines until the summer.

I'm still so happy for you guys that you met them!!

And (creepy I know, but please forgive) were the slippers like slip-on granny slippers or more like uggs?!

And I am in agreement that she wouldn't wear that attire in feb, so it must be a costume as given who she was with this is potentially very good news!!!


And re Leanne, we can speculate until we are blue in the face, but for me, whilst Carla and Peter are happy together and there are no spoilers on the horizon are suggesting otherwise I am going to be happy and content!

Could Ali not be wearing a dress under her coat and slippers? I.e what she'd be wearing on the fire evening, and still in the same stuff? I remember Ali S saying she saw Ali stood there are the night shoot in 'killer heels' so she might be in a dress, and still filming the fire day or after it.

There was a photo of Tracey Barlow running down the street when the fire takes hold, someone posted it
Eccles was seen in pictures twice with his safety jacket on in publicity photos and he is Ken's dog. He'd probs have to be out there anyway cos smoke might seep into The Barlows, but might have been a clue.

And I still haven't forgotten she was hanging about with Dr Carter and Sunita in those random Bistro scenes, with Sean, Jason and Tommy of all people, all involved with the fire, and must come before all the fire stuff. And they was all filming two days straight in there. All bit a strange.
Really want to know now. Trust us to all excited/worried/nervous and then nothing happens again ha
