I switched on the above this morning to watch a last night recording and it is frozen on the recordings page. I have tried a reset, switched off at the wall with plug out and it is still frozen on that page and also if I switch it off and on again it will not start up. Is it serious or can, with your help get it sorted out.

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't sound good.

How long did you leave it switched off at the wall for? I'd suggest leaving it off for a few hours just to make absolutely sure that all the RAM has cleared. (I'm not familiar with you device it's just that in general you often need to let the RAM clear for a switch off to work properly and it's difficult to predict how long that will be).
