In order to transmit the side-by-side picture needed for 3D, some resolution is lost anyway. So currently HD will always look sharper than 3D.
Anyway, it looks like when the 2-year trial of 3D comes to an end this year, the BBC will put it on a 3-yr hiatus (due to lack of public appetite) http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-...for-technology Can't say I'll miss it much when it goes.

See the changelog - this happened yesterday. BBC RB 302 was deleted from ARQA. The 308 placeholder has been renumbered back to 302 on the BBCA mux.
Tomee - you just posted to the changelog repeating my info from two posts above. Could you *please* read the changelog before posting? No doubt we'll now get a discussion on there (sigh) because you've repeated the info - unless people manage to restrain themselves. |

![]() Might as well keep 303 BBC RB HD running until BBC Three HD/CBBC HD are ready to launch. I assume 303 BBC RB HD will be the home of Dr Who 3D in November? |

There's an odd problem with Red Button text.
When changing between sections, while the text changes immediately, but the colour scheme and graphic title take about 10 seconds before they are updated. Plus CBeebies Red Button is not accessible, and channel changing functions seem to be broken. Is this UK wide? |

Had the same thing happening in Yorkshire when I was visiting earlier this week. Glad it's back to business as usual.

Charts and playlists are updating nicely on Radio 1's Red Button Service, that is, on LCN 700, and the Asian Network Download Charts on LCN 709.
1Xtra no longer hosts Charts pages on Red Button on LCN 701. |

Youview isn't Freeview. It doesn't even comply to Freeview standards.

And bizarrely, after Doctor Who finished they switched back to the now very out-of-date Red Button HD promo.

Just a static caption would be better than something that talks about "new for this summer"
Edit: Having said that, it's now broadcasting Formula 1, so maybe not quite static caption time yet. |
