Haddock in crispy batter, chips and mushy peas. And lots of salt and vinegar.

I wonder if you had a friendly chippy owner he or she would dunk one from the corner shop in batter if you asked nicely? Bung them 10p for the batter and use of the fryer, obviously.

When I ate from the chippy, it had to be Cod & Chips from the best chippy I know, it's in Dursley on Kingshill Road Glos.

They do 2 sizes of cod, small and large. The small is like a normal large portion in any other shop where the large is about the size of half a blue whale lol and I'm not joking it's massive

Plus you get about half a bag of spuds as chips to go with it

Since you can get this from my local chippy I'm going to say a 10" kebab pizza with a bag of chips and a small tub of garlic sauce

Fish and chips !
The way I judge a good chippy is how good their fish and chips are
If their fish and chips are rubbish, the chances are everything else will be rubbish !

I love curry and Chips and Sausage from a certain chip shop around the corner.
I've tried different chip shop curries but this one place has the sauce to die for!

Edit: I LOVE SAVELOY!
Can't for the lfie of me find any chip shop that sells it where I live though. Every chipshop in the south had it but up North it's like a mystery when I mention it.

A saveloy is more like a giant frankfurter than an ordinary plain or battered sausage. They are unusual, to put it politely.

It's either cod in batter, chips and mushy peas or two battered sausages, chips and curry sauce (or gravy, depending on which chippy).
