Vodafone 4G question.
I've seen an advertising board at a local bus stop advertising the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920, on Vodafone 4G (Coming soon). Am I missing something here, or are Vodafone jumping gun thinking they've won the 4G auction.
Also it's on their site. |

Put simply they have the deepest pockets, there is no way Vodafone will not get 800 spectrum

They're just as bad as O2 is. |

Hopefully they use their "deep pockets" to actually improve their 3G coverage and build a quality, high-coverage 4G network.
They're just as bad as O2 is.

There are some places I've been where vodafone 3g/H is amazing. O2s always seems slower than vodafones impo

Sounds like they're pretty confident they're going to get 800Mhz:
http://www.vodafone.co.uk/our-networ...ster/index.htm (under the 4G and LTE dropdown): "Our 4G’s going to operate on low frequency, which means your signal travels further into your home than any 4G signal that’s available now, all things being equal." |

They could do it on 900... which is a low frequency. However they have already stated "We are not refarming 900MHz for 4G"
They are pretty much guaranteed to get 800 out of those bidding. Deep pockets and all.. i'll eat my hat if they do not get some. |
