Depends on what you're using to listen to the remaster. It's like listening to it the first time.

How can it be that different? It's still the same songs with the same vocals, isn't it?

I guess I"m in the minority since people make a big fuss over remastered albums but I don't get the appeal.

Gigi, the production is so important to any album. But equally the production final mix is produced for best play on the appropriate medium with speakers at that current technical age. Times have changed since those albums were initially released and so to be heard in impeccable state a remaster from original tapes to produce the best sound possible for the current technical world is a positive step. it keeps the album timeless and alive. Anyhow, the album has been remastered very well. Trust the musician in me. But I do understand what you are saying that the album still sounds brilliant in its original form - and it does!

As with regards the additional tracks - To the Fair Motormaids of Japan. I had never heard this before in any form. So it was like hearing a glorious new Tori track. Equally, Sucker was new to me too. But actually it was lovely to hear those wonderful live recordings in such good sound.

I'm not a professional musician so I don't hear those sound quality things. I get that is important to a lot of people, but it's not my thing.

But I would like to hear the previously unreleased songs. Is there anywhere I can hear them without buying the whole album?
