Favourite Carry On film
Hi just wondering if there are any other Carry On fans out there and what there favourite film is.
Mine would be Carry On Doctor, so many great moments, Jim Dale on the roof, Matron being given a blanket bath, Frankie Howerd joining the team and it even features the invisible man. What would other peoples favourites be. |

Don't Lose Your Head, it is a classic of comedy, a real send up of the Pimpernel.

I agree love them all, and Don't lose Your Head and Screaming are two of my favourites, but Doctor just beats them for me.

Don't Lose Your Head
Joan Sims: But then, you've always had magnificent balls, and I wouldn't miss one of them.

It's close between Cleo and Screaming for me.Both are hilarious and among the best ever made in the series because they used the old Hammer Horror sets and the left over Cleopatra sets.

Cleo and Screaming for the comedy but it has to be Camping for the nostalgia of the street scenes/cars and shops.

The scene where Frankie Howard marries, with the bride and the parson both three quarters deaf is something to behold. "Give it to the referee"! ![]() ...........also enjoyed Convenience and Cleo(Kenneth Williams finest moment in CO imo). |

Henry and Don't Lose Your Head. I must have seen these dozens of times and could never tire of them.
