If in doubt, sign the strippers
Well they are popular you have to admit. And going by their vids they are VERY professional, focusing on the dancing & stylising of their routines rather than just stripping, admiring their own willies and flopping them at the audience like Kev & other Poundshop wannabes do.
I've been to a couple of the less pro stripper-crew gigs & found them sloppy (NO pun intended ). The best one I saw though was some local lads doing it for charity & they were great. Not great bodies, just OK,but enthusiasm, well rehearsed ,in synch & with humour without needing to resort to body lotion or squirty cream for grubby effect .
As I say,the Dreamboys seem to get it just right where it is an artistic entertaining performance as well as titillation without things getting messy & childish.
Plus they are global rather than purely UK/Ibiza based.

CAN is that you??

No I jest of course, I have never heard of them but I will take your word on this, they do sound like the upper end of the stripper marker. I know nothing about this particular industry, but they are probably a lot more marketable then most CAN clients so I can see why they would be quite a catch,

I think she is still living as if its the glory days of reality tv, where you simply had to sneeze to get these bimbos industry work. I don't think KP or PA would have the same success if CAN worked with them now, but from what I have seen she has to adjusted to the new climate, it's still same old same old. People have grown bored if these famewhores but I don't think CAN has woken up yet
I agree 100%, the more recent TV formats with Pete were very weak indeed, and the public are too clever now to just fall for the old style press spin she puts out for her clients. I think she's stuck pretty much and kind of boxed herself into a corner. When she is building them high street businesses on the side to me if i were a client i'd be thinking she doesn't have much confidence in me.

Exactly, which is why I was saying that the DBs are an upgrade - they're popular, fun, have a big fanbase and seem to be doing well - and are, in relative terms, a catch for CAN and, by comparison with the existing clientele, the client equivalent of a Cate Blanchett or a Jennifer Lawrence!
... i wonder if PA is still thinking she can get him a concert at Wembley Stadium, or get him out recording with the Jacksons.

From what i hear, the Dream Idols are actually the more popular "Male Entertainer" group, on the sides of all the buses, at all the premieres, on all the Tv shows. The Dreamboys are the older version who aren't quite dead in the water but not as popular as they once were. I see what you mean though.

Or she could be acknowledging that things are changing, reality tv has been done to death, and has become quite boring

Yes but she's a showbiz agent, not a small business advisor - if she can't sort that then she needs to get out of the industry. New formats, new clients, new styles.

Lets be honest, who really knows any of her clients, they are pretty much has beens with no talent, desperate to stay on the celeb ladder, you can not sell something people have no interest in, its talent that sells. Getting back to Katie, she is another, what can she do, she is far to risky to have on tv, great for the likes of Celeb Juice, where can she possibly go from here? She reminds me of Madonna, she has flogged the shock tactic to death, she is shocked out, and coming close to becoming no more than a joke, and at times i have felt sorry for her, but then she will do or say something that makes my repulsion for her return.

Genuine question.......

Classic.
Insider-cyril will be devastated that the fragrant KP has resorted to using men who sell doing naughty "things" (SEX !) for the titilation of females for a living .
Well her team woke up enough to bag the Dreamboys who are very current & VERY popular,so that ought to keep the wolf from the door for a while.
What have the Dreamboys done to change opinion that if signed by one PR agency, the agency 'resorted' to signing strippers, to then a few hours later a different agency 'bagged' then. Does it make the act better or worse depending on who is managing their PR ?

I think the problem is the public have in essence 'grown up'. Even the non cynical DS crowd can see through her games. We know how it all works, the PR showmances, sources, manipulating the press, getting married for headlines, sweetheart deals ect ect, what once shocked us is now old hat. Were can Claire go now we all know the rules? People don't buy into it any more because its all become utterly transparent. We are bored by it so we move on, either they find a new way of playing the fame game or they move on to.

Claire Powell doesn't manage her any more though. She's managed by her own company, Black Sheep.

Now now hunniebun, surely you know the rules on here by now?? Let me clarify for you:

* If KP does it, it's a desperate move from a washed up zeleb trying to cling on to her place on the ladder; whereas

* if CP does it, it's a clever new direction and shows her moving with the changing times!

Got that? Now try and keep up (with the raging hypocrisy on here!)

OK

Even self management doesn't seem to be doing her any good. The only interest that seems to be shown in her is on DS these days I think. TV and celeb rags couldn't care less.

That's not them, Blacksheep don't even have a website
That's why I deleted my post.

If this is them, there's nothing here....

Bit like the landscape between Katie's ears.

I think they both are facing the same issue in that everyone is sick to death of famewhores and reality tv. I think DS is probably the only place that has covered in marriage with any enthusiasm, and even then its more to do with wanting to watch a car crash rather then any emotional investment in the characters themselves.

True. Ideally she could have tried the Olympic medalists but they were all already with the specialist sports agents. Comedians seem to be coming back in, John Noel just had a big showcase of them. If she truly is just reality tv, and well, now strippers, she needs to go talent scouting elsewhere but then i guess her reputation precedes her. Agree it applies to Kate too, and Chantelle, Amy, Harry. Even if something reality catches on now people arent interested beyond the actual series. Katona got lucky with Big Reunion, it was done well and at the right time but i cant see people actually buying Atomic Kitten records.

I think an actual atomic kitten comeback, if they released new material, would flop big time. The big reunion works because of pure nostalgia, my friends and I enjoyed hearing the song we knew way back when. I to doubt anyone would buy Atomic Kitten records, we just want to enjoy the songs we once knew. Its cheesy and nostalgic but its not relevant enough to launch a whole new career off of
