I'm after a stylus for drawing on my nexus 10, but there seems so many on amazon i really dont know how to choose. Some even seem to do packs of different coloured pens!

The problem with the majority of stylii is that the tip is pretty fat, so it's harder to get accuracy.

This massive article on The Verge had a whole bunch of them for iPad, and they should also work on the Nexus.

Thanks, they all sound crap according to the video review.

Whats confusing me is the variety of price between them. Some are like £20 and others give a pack of 5 for a fiver!

You will not find a decent stylus won't work on a normal tablet, they are not capable of stylus input.

You need to get a stylus capable tablet like the Galaxy Note.

That doesn't seem correct from what i've read on the net.

It wasn't a critical factor in my purchase, so no.

I've bought one for a tenner, we'll see how it goes. I'll post feedback anyway.

Get a Jot Pro. I just got one for my Surface RT and its amazing. I've used a few capacitive styli and this is the only one that makes it feel like I'm actually writing with a ball-point pen.

I've just downloaded a drawing app to check out what's been said here. I've got a GTi8 newest GoTab http://www.ergoelectronics.com/produ...an-tablet-gti8 . Also have cheap mini stylus that came with very cheap phone case the grandkids got me for Xmas. It works! Admittedly it doesn't work well but I imagine that's due to the very cheap stylus?

the S Pen is much cleverer than you might think:

Using a 'dumb' stylus seems like it would be very poor in comparison.

I think you'll find the more expensive Wacom to be superior in the sense that it is solid, has a nice weight and weight distribution, etc. It feels perfect, but suffers from the same problem as they all do: the tip is fat and soft, precision work such as drawing is not really possible.
