I can't understand why Walker seems to have no problem hitting his son and threatening him, but is totally distraught about his brother's suffering. I know they are two completey different circumstances, but it comes across as strange to me, Surely someone who loved their brother that much would have equally strong feelings for their own flesh and blood.

kevin lies to brendan about being abused by his uncle, so that brendan COMFORTS him!! he hugs him apparently!! (though i imagine a BB hug would be something quite awkward). the next day brendan realises that kevin was using that to lie to him and he gets mad and chucks him out. kevin then goes to walker, who beats the crap out of him......and next thing? kevin goes to the police and reports brendan for sexual assualt!!!

no - walker and kevin are not in anyway related. kevin is hired by walker. which is why he's been asking for more money.

if the reason why people seem to think kevin's walker's son is because he texts him under "dad", that's code. it's the same code that walker used with his boss shawnee when he text her "mum" when still undercover with the police.

May be wrong, but I thought I saw Kevin put 'Dad' in his text to Walker the other day and he said it on the phone to him too. Unless that was some sort of code. Haven't heard him say it to Walker's face.

Over on Hollyoaks, newcomer Kevin Foster steps up his schemes against Brendan Brady as he continues to do Walker's dirty work.

Kevin (Elliot Balchin) is well aware of Brendan's traumatic childhood after chatting to Walker, so he plays on this knowledge by making up a story about his own past.

Confiding in Brendan (Emmett Scanlan), Kevin claims that his uncle Robert used to abuse him. When Brendan comforts his young employee, Ste is surprised to spot the pair hugging.

The next day, however, Brendan finally realises that Kevin is lying and lashes out at him, unleashing all his anger about his own dark past.

While Brendan's violent outburst doesn't go very far, Walker later beats up Kevin himself and sends him off to the police station sporting some nasty injuries.

Kevin goes to police station to report a sexual assault.


Bruised and bloodied, Kevin formally accuses Brendan of a sexual assault, which leads to the nightclub owner's arrest.

Ste is determined to find out what Kevin is up to and confronts him, but Kevin succeeds in planting a seed of doubt in his mind regarding Brendan's innocence…

tbf to ste, that depends on how it plays out. there's no way in hell that he would ever believe brendan capable of sexual assualt. just no!
BUT, considering the events of the past week wherein brendan through a glass at his head, perhaps he might have some doubts about brendan's innosence concerning the violence. and if ste sees brendan hugging kevin (something that brendan does not go around doing!!!), without knowing any of the details - remembering that ste is still completely in the dark about seamus - perhaps he might have a shadow of a doubt that brendan made a pass at kevin. he's already insecure about kevin working there to begin with. he knows he's exactly brendan's "type"...and there could be echos going off in his head of the days when ste worked at chez chez.
it doesn't take him long to realise kevin's lying though.

don't know.
maybe he says that brendan tried it on with him and tried to force it, but he wouldn't do it and fought him off so brendan beat the bejaysus out of him and he got away?
