I have just noticed my cat has a red blotch on his ear, only small and looks like burst blood vessel. When i touch it he doesnt like it and his ear goes down.
Ear mites is a possible cause of this as your cat would find them incredibly itchy and want to scratch at the ear(s). However it would be best to get your vet to check him out, my older cat had ear mites when I got her but cleared up quickly after some cream from the vet.
Hope he is ok and ear returns to normal soon.
