I don't think it's dead either, but I don't think we'll see it again for a very long time...as in, not unless the show keeps on going for another ten/fifteen years and then maybe.

Just my personal opinion. It'd be a big mistake to resurrect a big bad so soon after it was last gotten rid of... that mistake's been done to death with the Daleks already.
