Don't worry, they might die.

Wouldn't that be awful

tbh judging from Crimson Horror alone, Artie is a slightly better actor than Angie. All will be revealed tomorrow

Just thinking out loud. Sounds like a big serious and sad and emotional episode and we know Clara and the Doctor make it out. So could it be either Rivers fate being changed or Vastra/Jenny/Strax falling! Might be none of that but you never know! Not that I want it to happen as I love them but we are due some more heartbreak....

If the Clara storyline is supposed to be resolved, I think that was to be expected.

A lot of people wondered if The Crimson Horror was a back-door pilot for a spin-off. But I'm wondering if it was a chance to show them happy, functioning and working as a family - thus, if tragedy did strike...

Has anyone seen the mess that is twitter right now? Thanks to The Sun it's basically become a 'Whovian Civil War' (not my words).

Twitter has always been a mess. Can you link to that discussion specifically?

Well basically The Sun have released an article about
Spoiler
John Hurt being the forgotten 9th doctor, which also means doctors 9 upwards shuffle upwards so 9 becomes 10.
Obviously we don't know what's true and what's isn't. Until things are confirmed we shouldn't take anything we see in newspapers too seriously. There's that and the fact that everyone is scared shipless that Moffat is going to reveal the name of The Doctor. So there's lots of arguing, Moffat bashing, Who bashing, Hurt Bashing and insulting things being said

Soo...Twitter situation completely normal but with a bit of discussion about the Doctor's name?

Not really though, people who claimed to have loved Moffat have now turned their back on him and claim he's going to ruin the show with the bit in spoiler tags.

The whole plot of NIS is in this week's TV Quick:

When The Doctor takes Clara’s charges Artie and Angie to the galaxy’s greatest theme park, not only is it shut and there’s no ice cream, it’s teeming with murderous Cybermen!
The derelict Hedgewick’s World Of Wonder is now the home of a shabby showman, a chess genius dwarf called Porridge-played by Life’s Too Short’s Warwick Davis-and a rabble of soldiers led by Captain (Tamzin Outhwaite).
They’ve all been twiddling their thumbs since annihilating the Cybermen in a bitter war-so they’re understandably stunned when the metal menaces storm in, kidnapping Artie and Angie!
It turns out the Cybermen weren’t wiped out as everyone thought. They’ve been using children who went missing from the theme park as handy spare parts and building a vast army.
As the metallic militia prepares to attack, Clara barricades herself in ‘Comical Castle’ with the soldiers and just one gun to repel the invading hordes while, across the park, The Doctor has his own problems. The Cybermen are now so advanced, they can get into his head.
So when he challenges the cyborgs to a chess battle for control of his mind, he’s in for the game of his life.
A win and the children go free.Lose and the Cybermen gain all knowledge of time travel, The Time Lords and everthing else. No pressure then…..

So this is just about proven thanks to SFX's preview

Spoiler
someone’s there but not there at all.

That sounds kind of interesting.

Perhaps this could be River's last episode after all.

Ok this weeks LOOSE reference to the ALIEN franchise.

Clara/Ripley and the Marines

or

Clara/Ripley and some convicts.

Facehuggers?

Take your pick.

Oh one I missed out in a previous post...

There have been 3 Ripleys - she had two clones (at least)

^^^ one aspect (of several) i adored about todays episode....the RIpley/Alien allusions here....absolutely brilliant seeing Clara be the boss and lead and shoot some Cybermen down in a take-no-prisoners way....absolutely brilliant...like when Amy gunned down the Silence to save Rory in TWORS....EPIC!

and those teasers...oh this episode is going to be something!

I'm having such Mixed emotions about river and her appearance in the episode, it's heart wrenching and she looks sad while speaking to Clara.
