shirley has only got drunk on NYE since she returned so how does that make sense?
Did I say anything about drinking? No! She belongs in the gutter.

I could see them possibly recasting in about ten years time but they certainly won't do it within the next two years. Phil needs to move on from Ben.
ben would come back for his daughter

Really? I doubt it. Ben has never really wanted anyone else taking attention away from himself. He really wouldn't want anything to do with Lexie, he hurt his own sister for gawds sake.

Parents don't move on from their children. They are in your thoughts and in your heart wherever they are.

he would want to make a new life for himself. he turned himself in to redeem himself and said he would do his time.

She drinks a lot off camera. She sits on Arthur's bench in the garden and has a good session.

I voted no.

I like Shirley's back story and I think Linda Henry is a good actress. I have no clue what they can do with her, short of bringing back Deano...

Phil shouldnt have stopped her working in The Vic, that cuts her off massively. They need to rekindle her reluctant relationship with Jean who is also criminally underused.

Because I am referring to the fact that she is a low life and her home should be in a gutter. Like a rat. Surely that isn't too difficult for you to understand?

Ben killed someone an innocent person, there is no going back from that.

I don't mean in terms of Phil being a father, I'm talking in terms of Phil as a character. His storylines have been centred on Ben for quite awhile and it's made his character quite stagnant so he needs to operate without Ben so he can develop better.

Sadly, yes. I just don't see the point anymore. She's done nothing since she returned from Carly's. Linda is a great actress. I'm sure she'll find another role where her character is better utilized. Shirley was yet another wasted opportunity.

I'm sure George will be happy to know that the man who killed his mother feels sorry about it. It'll make up for everything.

She'll balls up her executive position at McClunkys ("do you want chilli sauce on that?")

Sooner or later she will savage one of the customers.

george can come back in 10 years time and haunt ben.

it will be interesting to see ben actually dealing with what he did. he will live with the guilt forever.

Shirley is the original bad girl and if she is ever written out, I am relying on her to castrate Phil Mitchell before she disappears at the horizon

Just because she has a job it still doesn't change the fact that she is a low life. She left her disabled son and didn't speak up when she found out who was involved in killing her BFF, instead of turning them in she turned it round on herself and her guilt.

Really!? Just because a murderer turns themselves in they are automatically redeemed in your books?! Wow...

i doubt it. shes changed a lot in the past 6 months what happened has made her see life in a different perspective and shes been a lot nicer recently helping bianca and smiling more

why do people want her to go back on her character development. it would just be pointless

Good. George won't return in ten years time and even if he did Ben would just knock him down.

Are you seriously suggesting that just because Ben turned himself in that makes him a good person.

It still doesn't justify him killing an innocent woman, leaving George motherless and putting Shirley through months and months of torment.
