Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm new to baking. I've got all the ingredients and will be making http://allrecipes.com/recipe/orange-loaf/ like my late dear old gran used to make many moons ago when I was a kid.

I was wondering if I need to actually grease the tin with marg or just use greaseproof paper?

I grease the tin, and grease the grease proof paper.

I usually just grease the tin. Good luck with your baking, hope it's tasty.

I took it to mean spreading butter on the tin with greaseproof paper, but can be done with the left over wrapper of butter if you some spare .
