I know you are a loyal fan of hers but surely you know that she has not skated on her own. She let go of Sylvain's hand for a few seconds, that did not mean that she skated. It is a joke now, but so unfair to the others that are really trying solo skating. It should be compulsary that they do a solo routine. That would sort out the fakes.!!!!!

Fan or otherwise she did skate on her own, it might not have been for long but she still did it. She is trying to solo skate and she enjoyed it. Lets hope Chris has given her some more this week.

Yes it would be fair if they make her skate solo. I have lost a lot of interest because of T & D working around her weaknesses. I do admire your loyalty though avon

anyone can see that the amount of unaided/assisted skating she's doing is negligible ... and compared to the other's sge does zilch

the 3 seconds she did last week was basic and very sloppy/unsteady and for this stage in the competition is very poor

she's lucky she wasn't in the previous years where specific skill's tests and whole solo routines were compulsary

I totally agree, the tiny bit she did last week looked very unstable and wobbly - she reminded me of Bambi - she should be alot better than she is at skating solo at this stage in the competition

fine ... but as a trained ex skater I have to disagree, the quality of her solo skating is remedial level, especially compared to the others

she's a prime example of smoke & mirrors style over substance

apologies, she did 5 seconds from 1:30 to 1:35 and it was a couple af basic push and glide turns where she barely lifted her feet off the ice

It was so clunky, she just walks on the ice, how on earth did she score 6.5 for that?

Why all the vitriol for Samia? She's not the first non-skating celeb to get this far in the competition.

Jennifer Ellison was just as hopeless IMO and she made it to the SF. I found Jen's drama queen antics incredibly annoying yet I don't recall her getting much flak for her non-skating and her "gynaecological" poses on ice.

Anyway, if Sylvain were my skating partner, I doubt I would want to let go of him too.

She didn't walk on ice she skated on it. The only walkin part was the beginning when they were still in role.

I hope Samia makes it to the semi finals.

Jen wasn't great but she did improve & made some effort to do so as the weeks progressed, something I haven't seen from Samia.

She also was a great performer & her lines were beautiful - Samia isnt even all that as a performer.

In addition I think Samia is getting flak as people are annoyed she got saved last week in the skate off.

In your opinion

She just puts her feet down on the ice, there is hardly gliding along only when she is pulled by Sylvain. Her basic skating is terrible.

I'd like to point out that Samia did more solo skating than Beth last week.

If I recall she got a lot of criticism on here for Dan just carrying her around
