He can dj if that's what he wants but I also can stop being a fan of him if that's all he does since that type of hard core techno music doesn't interest me. I'm not required to keep being his fan if he doesn't do something I enjoy.
But you're right he can't be bothered. He's lazy. He wants just money and fame he gets from djing, he doesn't care about creating art by writing good songs anymore.

george has released hundreds of songs over the years some under different names such as the twin & jesus loves you.
george plays many gigs so i'm sure he does work hard but I don't understand what happened with the culture club album.
They played sydney didn't they new years eve so hopefully it will come out soon I hope he isn't back on drugs.
He'd look pretty stupid if he did since he's said on various shows such as alan tichmarsh & this morning saying how he's clean.
His voice has changed alot probably due to smoking and drugs such a shame he didn't look after it better.

He's used to release more stuff back in the 1990's. I did enjoy Jesus Loves You. But recently he hasn't released too much and when he has it has been more of the techno sound like the Twin which I personally don't care for. He did a few solo live gigs about three or four years ago but not much recently.
CC did a live gig in Sydney but one member of CC wasn't there, Jon Moss. He was rumored to be ill or something but no clear explanation was ever given by George on his website or Facebook, which I found very strange.
I heard a recent interview with George where he said there were no plans for any CC reunion but he is working on solo stuff. He acted like he never said there was going to be a reunion.
I agree with you about his voice not being what it used to be.
I guess George is an acquired taste as a person. Some people find him funny and entertaining, but I find him kind of cruel, bitchy, and unncessarily rude and aggressive. He's kind of mean to people on twitter.
I also feel he's not always honest with people. He promises one thing, but then doesn't do it and never gives an explanation for why. I just in general find him a very difficult person lacking in integrity, although I can admire his talent as a singer and songwriter.
I don't necessarily think he's back on drugs though. People can lose weight through diet and exercise. He's always been kind of difficult and doesn't follow through on things. I think it's just his nature, not because of drugs.

I don't think he's had work done. Despite all his unhealthy living, he's always had good skin with very few wrinkles. I think it's genetic. Some people just genetically age less than others. Plus, he wears tons of makeup so you can't see wrinkles he does have. He claims to have quit smoking.

I just think he had work done as his face was massive before, and when you lose weight on your face its ages you more,..especially as I remember he had these weird lines on his cheeks when he was heavy. Also his jowls are gone, totally gone.

The nutritionist in question has tweeted heartily in support of his weightloss and 'new look'. She has her reputation to consider (and she has an excellent one) and I doubt very much she'd do this if she hadn't worked with him on his health plan. And although I'm not a follower of his, he's always had really good skin and the fact he wears make-up and doesn't go in the sun much, combined with a vegan diet, plus the health regime he's been on, would account for the fact it looks so good. That and his great cheekbones.

And no, he doesn't look anything like 29 but he does look very good and could easily pass for 10 years younger than he is.

The "gastric band!" and "he's been under the knife!" reactions do make me laugh. Can a person not simply lose weight by more traditional means over a period of time? No, course not.... Also not everyone over a certain age will look automatically look older when losing weight, especially if it's done over a significant period of time. There is such a thing as good genes, good bone structure, a healthy diet and well, simply being very lucky. I personally think (sorry George. I do think you are utterly gorgeous) that his err, strong nose helps to keep everything in place!

Exactly. One of my friends is 51 and she has amazing skin through a lot of juicing and eating a raw diet. She's had no work done at all. In fact, I'm gonna go on it myself, thanks to her and George as proof it works!

It's not guff at all about people having good genes. There is such a thing, and the saying 'you are what you eat' is true. When you eat foods that are live and overflowing with vitamins, you look a darned sight better than if you live on greasy chips and burgers. And away from the celebrities, when you actually KNOW people who eat very healthily and look great and you know they haven't had anything done, then it's believable. I can tell when people have had plastic or cosmetic surgery, yes even Joan Collins. I could tell she'd had a face lift years back. George shows no signs of having had any work done. He may have had a few facials etc but there's no plastic surgery there. His is diet, maybe a few facials, a few collagen waves maybe, but no surgery.

This is a forum. I have the right to give my opinion. People give negative opinions about other artists here all the time, even artists they like. No one's perfect and everyone can improve. He has the right to do whatever he wants, but I don't have to blindly follow. What makes someone a real fan? Your attitude is what has turned me off of Boy George. I'm not a mindless follower like you. I use my brain. There is an unwritten contract between fans and artists. If you do right by your fans by giving them new albums and tours on a regular basis,fans will do right by you by supporting you financially and with adulation. He doesn't' have to do anything he doesn't want to, but if he doesn't I don't have to continue blindly admiring him. He just has an arrogant attitude that it's all about him that turns me off.
