Morning guys - well you turn your back for a few hours and everyone ups sticks and moves out #wasitsomethingIsaid?!
Yesterday was positively spring-like, I went out without a coat
I had a long sleeved shirt and a cardigan, but it was very pleasant outside, the meeting room was way too hot as usual
Much colder today, we could have more of the white stuff at the end of the week apparently.
My sister and my niece came up from London so we had a late night catching up on all the goss which ws fun although we were both knackered to begin with. My sister's a teacher and is always shattered at half term, but she's still asleep so hopefully will feel better later. She's going shopping with her daughter but I can't cope with teen shopping these days, so I'll meet them later
Son #2 back from Egypt late last night - family are all taking bets on whether or not he proposed to g/f while they were away

How are the green ones different? Is it just the size?

Nah, the Kiwi ones are huge in comparison to the average Scottish ones, almost twice the size...and too chewy for me, mind you maybe they just weren't as well cooked.
No idea about the water consistency/quality that the respective things are grown in. Just that they're opposite sides of the world...

I've had all colours and sizes, size isn't everything.
DDBut the big mussels make a far better meal.
I suppose the clear water around New Zealand makes the colour of the shell, the rest of the world doesn't really have water like that.
It was clear by some of the islands surrounding Singapore but doubt if mussels grew there.

Singapore has a pearl industry so it is probably suitable for mussels.
