BARB slot averages are a lot lower than the numbers who actually watch all or some of the match.

Irish TV rating:

Wednesday 13th March:
RTE One:
18:00- Six One News: 700k (52%)
Peak: 992k
Highest rating since Dec. 2011

It's expected to soar again on Tuesday.
There was a big drop in electricity usage during the bulletin too, the last time this happened was when Katie Taylor won gold at the Olympics last August.

Hi,

Does anyone have any ratings for any of these last night (excl. and incl. +1 where possible):
- The Planners, 8pm, BBC2
- Britain's Secret Shoppers, 8pm, C4
- Googlebox, 10pm, C4
- Cowboy Builders, 8pm, C5
- Any of the 5+1 ratings for Killers Behind Bars and Born to Kill?

Many thanks!

ITV really have done well with the Europa League. About 5m watched the two matches it looks like.

Prisoners Wives dented but I don't think it's a big hitter. It did okay.

American Idol falling to an all time low in America Last night with a 3.0...yes Daylight Savings Time and all that, but that is a shocking rating and almost down to x factor like numbers

Also community is just fluctuating all over the place, last three ratings have been 1.2, 1.5 and now this week a poor 1.0
Definately impossible to predict where it will go next and whether it will survive or not

BBC Scheduling Idiots have Doctor who starting at 6.10pm and Voice at 6.50pm. Far too early for both of them!

After a very promising start Big Reunion seems to have dropped off quite significantly. Nevertheless I suspect the demos are still pretty good...

Can't be final as Doctor Who is a 45 minute show - But both should be a good half an hour later

I think;
6.00pm Pointless Celebrities (r?)
6.45pm Doctor Who
7.30pm The Voice
8.30pm Casualty
9.20pm The National Lottery
9.30pm Mrs Brown's Boys (r)
10.00pm BBC News
10.20pm MOTD

Would work well, Doctor Who would have a head start on SNT meaning it shouldnt dent The Voice as much and a MMB repeat is a good way to round off the night

I wouldn't call it idiotic. It's about capturing an audience and keeping them for an evening. If there's nothing substantial on ITV then having something to watch from 6pm until approx 8.30pm on the same channel is clever scheduling. It means most of primetime is owned by one channel. Hardly idiotic.

”

A pretty underwhelming set of ratings all round really - only the Spurs game and to an extent the 8pm hour on E4 (I assume Big Bang Theory is on repeats) seem to stand out.

Doctor Who has been 50 minutes lately. I hope that provisional schedule doesn't stick. Although I can see the logic in getting the jump on SNT, I think a start closer to 20:00 would be better for TVUK.

I'm well aware of that. The match averages 2m-2.2m, peaking over 2.5m, even 3m.

Written by Dan Wootton. Chances are it's 100% bull****. He always says 'My source says' but will not name them because it's all lies. The article also includes this;

"He’s also believed to be working on a non-sports show back at the Beeb."

Would that be Beat the Pack by any chance?

Probably complete rubbish. They've always been short of the second male stand in and end up with Paddy McGuinness or who couldn't be more unsuitable if he tried, whereas they've got about 5 women they can use. I'd say its that and nothing more. And the chances are Holly will leave before Phil does anyway.

TV listings had You've Been Framed on ITV2 between 7pm and 9pm. And ITV put YBF on between the two Corries at 8pm. So YBF on ITV and ITV2 at the same time.

Fortunately someone at ITV Towers realised in time and they stuck Fool Britannia on ITV2 at 8pm. Would have been a good idea to combine the two programmes. Harry Hill narrates Fool Britannia. "Oh, that's such a funny practical joke" laughs Harry with a perfectly judged hint of sarcasm.

If I'm not mistaken, previously for its new episodes its been running instead of The Big Bang Theory. This week, it's following it, so inheriting a larger audience.
