As for The Voice - I think the BBC are pinning far too many hopes on the spinning chairs. Yes, the auditions were the strongest point last year but I think the novelty of the chairs has long warn off, and combined with the increasing apathy for talent show auditions, singers especially, I just can't see it recovering this year.”
