Any ideas on how The Time Travellers Wife did on Channel 4 last night at 9pm? They seem to airing some pretty big films recently .... ( 127 hours, Source Code and Limitless have all done very well over the last few weeks I think?)

Ant and Dec are ratings bankers for ITV. The one presenter I do feel sorry for is Denise van Outen, who seems to have been landed with some awful flops like The Marriage Ref and Who Dares Sings, but is quite a capable presenter.

The Eddie Mair / Boris Johnson confrontation this morning, The BBC2 documentary about Boris is transmitted on Monday night at 9pm (clashes with Broadchurch).

Comic Relief Does Glee Club - consolidated

Thu 14/03 - BBC1 - 786k (7.2%)
Thu 14/03 - CBBC - 178.5k (1.6%)
Thu 14/03 - Total - 964k (8.8%)

Fri 15/03 - BBC1 - 937.4k (8.0%)
Fri 15/03 - CBBC - 244.4k (2.1%)
Fri 15/03 - Total - 1.18m (10.05%)

Comic Relief proper between 19:00 and 22:30 on the Friday consolidated to 10.28m (39.4%), timeshifting just 400k and losing share from the overnight 40.6%, as you might expect for an event of this type.

The BBC Two segment from 22:30 to 23:10 consolidated to 4.79m (25.2%), which (I hadn't realised) actually beat the news over on BBC One (3.53m/17.7%).

Switching back to BBC One, the post-news Comic Relief programme officially averaged 2.76m (35.0%) from 23:10 to 25:55, and then Grimmy's Comic Relief Late Nighter collected 566k (24.3%) for the stretch up to 27:30.

Pokerface wasn't a flop, it was attracting fairly solid ratings - also, unlike the other two, it was actually a very good format. I would have liked ITV to bring it back.

as the bbc's rights to the voice end after this series coming up will the bbc be 1st choice to extend the contract or would it then go to highest bidder such as itv or sky etc?????

as now people know what to expect from the auditions and the turning chairs surly that wont win big ratings like the start of last series as its been seen before etc and the winner never did anything so not great selling point to viwers ????

if it does flop again after auditions like last year that surly would be an end of the 22million pound format rights for bbc1
what other formats from usa and co would be worth that sort of cash??????

up to 3pm (the chase) itv clearly doent try at all compeating for ratings as week after week very low weekend ratings from mornings up to 3pm etc, if more quiz shows like the chase where shown in the mornings at weekends or even revamping the old chart show etc would this improve ratings or is it cash wasted as best to focus on primetime ???

Hehe, that's not a bad share for ITV out of peak by its standards. It beat BBC One's BBC News simulcast (111k/8.8%), Channel 4's repeats including CDWM (67k/5.3%) and Channel 5 which was showing SuperCasino followed by motorsport (4k/0.3%). However it lost to BBC Three (and no doubt other multichannels) which had 126k (10.0%) on average across the 3-4.15am period despite Meet the Multiples going off air at 3.55am and the channel closing down.

HAHA... Im sure rivkin just copies and pastes that same post every day.

I think if the Voice can break 7.5m, as long as it beats SNT it will be okay, then it can build if the talent is decent.

Great rating for SNT. I thought the boys were on form last week, their best show so far in the series, and the rating reflected that! Good light-hearted entertainment on Saturday Nights. Well done Ant & Dec

The racing figure was lowered by there being only one, poor meeting on Channel 4 yesterday. However, yet another completely uninspiring line up that was dominated by DOND, CDWM and property programmes and the peal time ratings reflect this.

Well, it's quite down on last year's final but at least the semi-final is up. The whole series averaged out to 403k (3.5%) with the combined figures included, and 231k (1.95%) on CBBC figures alone.

I'm puzzled as to why they decided to simulcast these live shows on BBC One after airing the heats on CBBC. The BBC mentioned a while back that if The Voice did well, they would launch The Voice Kids - which would only work on the CBBC channel.

How were CBBC's overnights on Friday afternoon?

I dont think its time for the bbc to abandon all light entertainment but they need to conserve the money for projects that can make money back.

However, I think it is quite a varied line up compared with what they had previously, the CS omnibus and highlights of This Morning.
