Sounds overly optimistic. 5m would require a three year high and on recent evidence even 4m is far from guaranteed. It's not a great performer.

I just had a quick look at it's figures and yes you make a very good point. It's NOT a great performer at all.

3m I downgrade my prediction to.

Shows how little I know!

I would imagine there will be a spike of people turning over for the results of Lets Dance so that will not help The Cube.

I cannot see The Cube getting 5 million. Especially when it's directly against In It to Win It. 4 million or below is more realistic.

I've had a request for Tuesday's ratings as they are a bit thin on the ground. I've excluded +1 as I don't want to cane my source too much.

Would you be able to get BBC3 and BBC4?

It should beat Lets Dance easily which has just had all it's life sucked out of it now. It definately felt though like something was missing tonight and was essentially 3 or 4 items padded out over the 75 minutes rather than a jam packed mixture of numerous features. The new Little Ant and Dec are well annoying too - completely lack the charm of the original pair who made the feature work so well originally.

I wonder how the Voice will do this year? Love Will.i.am especially since he dontated his fee to charity last year and love his quirky since of humour. Not sure about the rest of the judges though but they at least need two years together for the show to grow.

They only look about 5 or 6. Give them a chance. It is their first show with a task. They are still children.

I notice that Mayday got an absolute slating in today's Times, noting it is quite simply one of the worst dramas in ages, and that the second episode is so bad it's unintentionally hilarious.

Scathing - and it's on 5 consecutive nights. If that review is half-true, then BBC1 has a bit of a problem.

Presumably a drama called Mayday wasn't intended to air in March. Has it been brought forward to clash with and "spoil" the very similar Broadchurch?

Broadchurch has also received a bad review on the guardian podcast this week. The critic says that its so rubbish she expected french and saunders to pop out as a parody of bad drama. However she added that this could just be her opinion and that everyone else will find it wonderful! Disapointing if it is as it has a great cast! She claims the worst bit is when the police officer finishes questioning by asking the ice cream man for a 99! The radio times however says its the drama of the whole year!

Thanks for the ratings but that (20:30-21:00) slot average of nearly 5m is bollocks. Was it a typo?

Despite the disappointment with SNT, I still think it'll beat Let's Dance. We shall find out soon.

Well, in that case, it's quite surprising it's higher as it did not go down well on the thread but it's a brilliant rating for it.

How did Let's Dance and The Cube do?

Lets Dance 4.5m

I'm not- it was fun last night, I hope Lets Dance fell further and that this is the last series of this awful show.

Its launched well but dropping that initial rating quite severely. Time to rest it and maybe bring it back in a good few years again once forgotten. Was it ever really intended to have a run past the first series I wonder.
