Well if they ran them altogether I suspect you'd have had no series at all last year - the 5-6 episodes aired last year were effectively an advance on the 2013 series.

Its quite clear Dallas has a 1 million strong audience in its 11pm slot. It had 1.5 million in its 9pm slot. Moving it on the basis of poor overnights is one of the most bizarre decisions in recent years. I wonder how it would be doing at 10pm say?

I think in hindsight it should have moved to 10pm as opposed to 11pm.
But with a third season looking increasingly unlikely, that too may have been a factor.

Emphasis on the slightly - I suspect we'd be talking in the low tens of thousands at the absolute most.
Got to Dance though probably as much about driving subscriptions and making subscribers see Sky1 as a viable alternative to BBC1/ITV for weekend entertainment, with Got to Dance probably being the most successful light entertainment brand Sky have had. It probably brings viewers to the channel who otherwise wouldn't be watching Sky1.

I think 5* should have comedy and lighter drama and 5USA should have mostly drama although shows like Archer would fit the channel well. I do think 5* needs more content, 5USA needs more exclusive drama, looking at the upcoming and current drama series, I think Ray Donovan would work and perhaps Graceland.

Broadchurch held up OK with +1 on 6.4m. Looking at Mike's figures the excluding +1 rating was 5.8m so a huge 600k on +1. Corrie continues to pull in very strong Monday ratings (9.3m & 9.4m tapechecked). I wonder if next Monday's fire will boost it further?

Foyle's War is in Next Week/Coming soon sections of The TV and Radio times so will be on the week of 23-29march, if it is on Sunday it will be up against BBC1 Military Drama Our Girl.
