Why have they tired to make this actress act with an English accent? ...it's diabolical. Oh yes, she's bad, so she has to have an English accent

All of the originals have English accents, and it's most likely because when they were human they were English settlers in America. They never stayed anywhere long enough for it to change.

4. Half way through. ITV2 screenings tend to be cut for violence mind, sometimes quite heavily.

I don't think Claire Holt's accent is that bad. In the most recent US episode there was a bloke who was putting on a bad Irish accent that was horrible by comparison.

Bloody hell that's even worse. In that case he made Chris Hemsworth accent in Snow White and the Huntsman look decent (!)

Haha, definitely. I could barely understand him and i'm pretty good with understanding people with accents.
Maybe they'll have him tone it down a bit in the future.
