Why aren't the adults eating the babies? (fish)

I have 13 White Cloud Mountain Minnows in a 90L tank. They've been in there for about a year now & have spawned. There's at least 20 fry of various sizes but I wondered why the adults aren't eating them? All my other fish that have spawned have eaten the eggs/fry long before now.

Any ideas?

Do they have hiding areas? I have a tank full of guppies, they will eat the very small young given the chance, but most hide amongst the plants until they are large enough not to be seen as food.
