I was wondering if puppies remember their brothers and sisters if they meet up again. i am thinking if it has only been a couple of months since they were together, do they remember or is it like two strangers meeting ?

It's doubtful IMO, unless they meet very regularly from a very young age, but who knows??

Well either they do and our late jack russel really hated his siblings or they don't and he just took his general hatred of all canines back to his litter mates.

My pup met his mum about a yr later, as she was my uncles bitch. She pinched his toys, ran under the table with them and made it very clear she'd have a piece of him if came one paw closer.

I don't know about sibling memories as my two have never met theirs but one of my dogs has very strong puppy memories of people in his past. He's coming up to six now but if he sees anyone from his puppyhood he goes absolutely mad, howling, jumping and you can see the joy on his face. He's epileptic now so whether he remembers happier times when he sees their faces or it's just seeing their faces that does it I don't know.

Dogs have amazing memories and recollection - I have learned this over the last 20 years of having them. My latest girl Asha only has to go to a place or past a place once and remembers it. From the first time she could walk and went to the vets, she always stops at the door go in. We walk past a house where only twice their dog was at the gate, every time she slows down and stops expecting to greet him. She remembers where things are left and people she has only met once - I know a lot of that is smell. Nevertheless, she does some things that are purely from memory - really bright
