Ice Cream Van - What is your fav.?
The sound of the ice cream van. You know what it is like. Fond childhood memories! But what do YOU buy from the Ice Cream van? I had an Oyster tonight & it was delicious!

Well go for it! You won't be sorry. They really are delicious!
(Make sure it is decent quality ice cream. Luca's or Arcari's if near Edinburgh)My mum had a hut(and then a caravan when the site done away with huts) at Port Seaton when I was a wee girl and a trip to Luca's at Mussleburgh was essential at least twice a week during the "season". The ice cream was wonderful. Flip to the West Coast and you had Nardini's in Largs - again ice cream you want to melt into. Oh and Equis in Hamilton ice cream....... YUM YUM YUM. My favourite local ice cream at the moment is the one I make myself but If I can't be arsed I head to the Crescent Cafe Seaton Delaval Northumberland. This is wonderful ice cream. If it doesn't say Crescent Cafe Seaton Delaval it isn't the right stuff. |

I just usually get a Fab or a Twister as I don't trust Mr Whippy. Haven't got anything from the ice cream van for years though.
